Bachelor Nation’s Jed Wyatt Marries Ellen Decker in Tennessee Wedding

I’ve followed Peter Weber’s romantic journey since his time as the Bachelor during season 24, and it seems that love hasn’t come easy for him. After a brief engagement to Hannah Ann Sluss and a split from Madison Prewett, many fans were rooting for him to find happiness with Kelley Flanagan. However, their on-again, off-again relationship ultimately came to an end as well.

Jed Wyatt is stealing Ellen Decker away for more than just a second.

A previous contestant on “The Bachelorette” got married to a fitness trainer on July 20. The wedding was graced by numerous other Bachelor Nation celebrities, including Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour.

The couple expressed their marriage news by posting a classic image on Instagram, showing them interlinked with their wedding bands, and captioned it, “July 20th, 2024: the most extraordinary day for us and the start of our journey as a married couple.”

At The Woodlands Five Gables in Jed’s hometown of Tennessee, the heartfelt wedding ceremony unfolded in 2019 for Ellen and Jed. For the big day, Ellen wore an elegant strapless white wedding dress, while Jed looked dashing in a white tuxedo with stylish black accents.

At an outdoor garden setting, Jed and Ellen took turns making promises to each other under a beautiful floral arch, followed by a cozy indoor gathering for their meal reception.

Two years ago, Jed proposed to Ellen during a sunset with the words “you’re the greatest joy of my life” leaving her delighted and overjoyed. Later, he was known as a songwriter for this sentiment.

In his Instagram post on July 22, he expressed that we never give up on each other, instead, we tackle life’s challenges together. People had their doubts, but we would just laugh it off. We’ve had our fair share of difficult days where we drove each other crazy, but we always managed to find a way to make things right. Our bond is stronger than anything I could have ever hoped for.

He continued, “Ellen is the coolest, most fun, funny, down to earth, hardest working, healthiest eating, routine doing, long walking, breath of fresh air I’ve ever met. Facts are this, I don’t remember what I said down there on one knee, but with the tears flowing, Ellen Decker said yes to me.”

Before he started a relationship with Ellen, Jed had been planning to marry Hannah Brown in the past year. Hannah was the object of Jed’s affection during The Bachelorette season 15, which aired in 2019. However, their engagement didn’t last as rumors emerged that Jed had been seeing Haley Stevens while on the ABC show.

Later on, Jed refuted the infidelity accusations, explaining that he and Haley, currently married to Hannah’s sibling named Patrick Brown, weren’t involved in an exclusive romance during his filming tenure.

He expressed on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast in 2019 that if he were currently in a romantic commitment, he wouldn’t have joined a dating program. This is simply how I am; I don’t engage in infidelity.

Which other individuals have discovered their “happily-ever-after”? Let’s find out where things stand with all the Bachelor Nation relationships. (Or, Who have found their blissful endings?, or, Where are the Bachelor Nation love stories now?)

Status: Split

In November 2022, Greg, who was a suitor on “The Bachelorette” with Katie Thurston the previous year, made an appearance on season eight finale of “Bachelor in Paradise” alongside Victoria. They declared their relationship to the world at that time. However, in April 2024, Greg shared that they had ended their relationship.

Prior to Victoria and Greg’s announcement of their relationship during the final episode of “Bachelor in Paradise” season 8, Victoria had broken off her engagement with Johnny DePhillipo.

Status: Divorced

In November 2023, during the final episode of the first season of “Golden Bachelor,” Gerry Turner proposed to Theresa Nist, and they exchanged vows in a televised wedding ceremony in January 2024.

However, three months after their nuptials, the couple announced that they were breaking up.

Gerry shared on “Good Morning America” alongside Theresa in April 2024, “Theresa and I have had deep conversations and carefully examined our relationship and living situation. We’ve reached an agreement that it seems right for us to end our marriage.”

They reached a divorce settlement in June 2024, according to court records reviewed by TopMob News.

Status: Engaged

After courting 32 potential brides, tennis pro Joey Graziadei found his perfect match in project manager Kelsey Anderson. “I can’t wait another minute to tell you that I love you,” Joey told his final rose recipient, before getting down on one knee during his season’s March 2024 finale. “There is something about you. You have this infectious energy that makes me smile. It’s a feeling I’ve never had before.”

Imagining his forever with the Louisiana native, he continued, “I have known for a while that I’ve wanted to have a beautiful life, but I truly didn’t know how beautiful that life could be until I met you.”

Status: Split

Though underwater welder John Henry Spurlock (one of Charity Lawson‘s suitors) and nurse Kat Izzo (she competed for Zach Shallcross‘ heart) didn’t connect until midway through season nine of Bachelor in Paradise, they were willing to dive into the deep end. “I’m going to try something a little different,” he said while offering up an Ascher cut Neil Lane diamond. “I’m following my heart today. My heart’s telling me that you are amazing, you are everything that I’m looking for.”

But days after the finale aired, the duo revealed they no longer saw forever in each other’s eyes. “While our paths are taking different directions due to our career goals not aligning,” they wrote in a joint Instagram post, “we are grateful for the love and support we’ve received from our family, friends, and Bachelor Nation.”

I’ve been following the latest developments of “The Bachelor” finale quite closely, and I must admit, I was taken aback by Eliza Isichei’s unexpected engagement to Aaron Bryant during Clayton Echard’s season. As someone who has gone through a broken engagement myself, I could relate to Eliza’s nerves before accepting the proposal.

As an obsessed fan, I’d put myself right in the shoes of postpartum nurse Kylee Russell. I’d say:

“Dotun Olubeko proposed to Charity Lawson during the August 2023 finale, declaring their love as ‘perfect.’ The engaged couple are planning a wedding for either 2025 or 2026. Before their big day, Charity will compete on ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ as Dotun excitedly shared with her during ‘The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose.’ ‘Baby,’ he said, ‘I know you enjoy having fun and dancing. We’ve discussed this opportunity, and I am thrilled to be the one to tell you that you’ll be on “Dancing With the Stars”! Let’s do this!'”

Status: Engaged

Zach shall get his happy ending. Despite more than a few Fantasy Suite-related stumbles, Zach Shallcross ended season 27 in March 2023 down on one knee. “I am so in love with you,” he told travel nurse Kaity Biggar. “You are my world. The love I feel for you is something I could have never imagined.”

In July 2023, the Texas-based duo made an even bigger step in their journey, with Kaity sharing on Instagram, “Officially roommates.”

Brandon Jones declared his eternal love for Serene Russell during their engagement on “Paradise” season seven. However, their happiness was short-lived as they announced their split five months later in a joint statement. Despite the deep affection between them, they found it incredibly difficult to maintain their relationship under public scrutiny. Their heartfelt request was for people to show compassion and avoid any negativity during this painful time.

Status: Split

Pilot Rachel’s engagement to general contractor Tino Franco stalled when he kissed another woman while their 2022 season was still airing. “I do not stand by what I did at all,” he said on The Viall Files. “It was not cool. It wasn’t fair to Rachel, and it haunts me daily still. It’s something I’m ashamed of and certainly wish I could have done it differently like a million times over.”

In my experience as a lifestyle expert, I’ve come to understand that relationships are not always smooth sailing. Last year, during the Bachelor finale in 2022, I found myself at a crossroads with Clayton. Initially, I chose to walk away from him. But as time passed, we reconnected off-camera. Unfortunately, after six months, we parted ways once again.

Susie is now dating fellow Bachelor Nation member Justin Glaze.

Michelle, an elementary school teacher from Minnesota, received a Neil Lane engagement ring and a $200,000 check for their future home from Texas sales exec Nayte Olukoya on the show. However, they didn’t have a strong connection and announced their split six months after the finale aired in December 2021. According to Nayte, there were numerous disagreements and misunderstandings between them, and not having the breakup conversation face-to-face was disrespectful.

Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian shared an appealing vision of serene Sunday mornings with the audience during their time on Bachelor in Paradise season seven. Regrettably, they spent just a few dozen weekends together. In a joint statement released in January 2022, their patient coordinator Maurissa (who dated Peter Weber) and lawyer Riley (one of Tayshia Adams’ suitors) announced their decision to part ways. “Despite our hopes, we have come to the realization that we each need to focus on our individual growth.”

Status: Split

On the sixth season of “Bachelor in Paradise,” the first same-sex pair, who were part of Bachelor Nation, got engaged. However, they revealed their separation in October 2019.

In their Instagram post, they shared that love and concern for each other have been the foundation of their relationship since the beginning. They acknowledged that putting their own well-being first was crucial. With deep affection towards one another, they made the difficult decision to separate, allowing them both to focus on personal growth.

Despite ending their relationship in Mexico during the seventh season of “BIP,” Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer have since found that their connection runs deeper than lost paradise. After initially settling in San Diego, the travel nurse and financial manager have recently purchased a home together in his hometown of Tulsa.

As an obsessed fan, I can’t help but feel excited about every little detail of my favorite Bachelor couples’ love stories. So when I heard that Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile, two beloved contestants from previous seasons, decided to elope at City Hall before their official September 2023 wedding, I simply couldn’t contain my enthusiasm!

As someone who has closely followed the Bachelor franchise for years, I have witnessed countless romantic proposals and weddings. However, Kenny Braasch and Mari Pepin’s love story stands out to me as particularly heartwarming and authentic.

Status: Married

Becca, a previous Bachelorette contestant, and Thomas Jaccsobs, one of Katie Thurston’s past suitors, met on Bachelor in Paradise season seven in 2021. They split up during the show but rekindled their relationship after filming ended. In May 2022, they revealed they were engaged, with Becca proposing. She expressed her hope that others would be encouraged to break the rules and follow their hearts. In September 2023, they welcomed their first child, a son named Benson. Overwhelmed by love for their newborn, Becca shared on Instagram, “No words can express the depth of our affection for this little boy.” Weeks later, in an unexpected ceremony on October 13, 2023, they got married.

Status: Split

In the thrilling finale of The Bachelorette’s seventeenth season in 2021, I was absolutely ecstatic as I watched Katie get down on one knee and propose to my beloved Blake Moynes. Their heartfelt connection had blossomed during their unforgettable overnight date, filled with the excitement of a paintball adventure, the relaxation of a cowboy tub, and the magic of an intimate conversation under the starlit sky.

With a heartfelt gesture, Blake expressed to Katie, “You’re worthy of the entire world. I’m eager to stand by your side and assist you in every way possible, each day ahead.”

After three months following the presentation of their proposal, the pair revealed they were going their separate ways. In unison, they expressed, “We’re thankful for the precious moments we experienced together and the amazing journey that unfolded throughout this year. However, despite our gratitude, we’ve come to the realization that we aren’t suitable life partners for one another. By making this decision independently, we believe it is the kindest choice for us both to move forward in our lives separately.”

Matt and graphic designer Rachael Kirkconnell, who met on the 2021 season of “The Bachelor,” have faced numerous breakup rumors since then but are still very much in love. Matt shared with TopMob News at a Baskin-Robbins event in July 2022 that people need to take a break from social media and not jump to conclusions when couples take a step back from constant online presence. The couple, who are based in L.A., have marriage as their ultimate goal and plan to move at their own pace, avoiding the pitfalls of rushing into engagement and potentially breaking up.

Status: Split

Tayshia took over Clare Crawley’s 2020 “The Bachelorette” season and developed a deep connection with Zac Clark. Despite leaving the show as an engaged couple, Tayshia shared later that their relationship experienced its share of challenges.

Speaking candidly on “The Ben and Ashley I. Almost Famous” podcast in August 2021, she shared, “Being in a new relationship and then having to be away for a few weeks can be quite challenging. I’m being genuine here.”

After that incident, she reflected, “It seemed essential for us to recall why we were together. This is completely natural.” However, in November 2021, TopMob News reported that they had ended their relationship.

Status: Split

During season 16 of “The Bachelorette,” Clare strongly developed feelings for Dale Moss by the fourth episode. However, their engagement didn’t last long as Dale announced their breakup on social media just weeks after Tayshia’s engagement.

About a month after their initial split, speculation swirled that the couple had reconciled as they were seen in public together once more. By July 2021, following several attempts to mend their relationship, Clare and Dale were back on – this time with an engagement ring between them. However, their happiness was short-lived as they split up again in September. Currently, Clare is blissfully wedded to Ryan Dawkins and anticipates the arrival of their first child together.

Status: Split

Following his short-lived engagement to Hannah Ann Sluss and his breakup with Madison Prewett, fans rooted for Peter’s third attempt at love. Sadly, his relationship with Kelley Flanagan from “The Bachelor” season 24 did not last, as he announced on New Year’s Eve 2020 that their nine-month romance had ended.

“Although our relationship was rich with many lovely recollections, unfortunately it didn’t last, Pete shared on Instagram. “Kelley remains someone dear to me, holding a unique place in my heart.”

In 2022, the couple made another attempt to leave together, but they announced in May that their relationship had ended.

Status: Split

After the emotional 2020 conclusion, the pair shared on Instagram that they had decided to part ways in their relationship. “Myself and Madi have arrived at the mutual decision not to move forward with our relationship,” Peter explained. “This was a difficult choice for both of us, but after heartfelt discussions, we acknowledge that this is the best path for us individually. My affection and regard for Madi remain unchanged.”

In her declaration, Madi expressed, “I’ll forever cherish and value him. I firmly believe that our lives intersecting was destined and has brought nothing but goodness to us both.”

Status: Split

During The Bachelor’s twenty-fourth season, Peter and Hannah Ann had a short-lived engagement. However, in the finale’s second part, it came to light that their relationship was facing challenges just a month after they became exclusive. Particularly, Hannah Ann was taken aback when she discovered that Peter still held strong feelings for Madison.

She had only requested for someone to fully commit to her as she did to them. But you took away my first engagement ring, she said sadly. “You took something precious from me. I believed in you and have been asked to be patient and have faith in you.”

Status: Now Married

Dylan Barbour and Hannah Godwin, stars of Bachelor in Paradise season six, exchanged vows in an enchanting French wedding ceremony. According to Hannah, who shared her experience exclusively with TopMob News, “The wedding was truly magical. I married my dearest friend in the presence of our beloved family and friends. It was a long-cherished dream coming true.” The content creator, who previously developed feelings for Bachelor Colton Underwood before joining the show in 2019, is now thrilled to officially refer to tech entrepreneur Hannah Brown’s season alum as her spouse. “We are committed to spending our lives together in San Diego,” she shared. “Our families are closely bonded. Our relationship already feels like a marriage in many ways, and we are eager to make more memories and legally seal the deal.”

Status: Split

After much anticipation and rumors, my favorite Bachelor in Paradise couple, Chris Bukowski and Katie Morton, shared their decision to part ways in a mutual statement. We both came to the realization that it’s time for us to move forward separately. This wasn’t an easy choice, but it aligns with the genuine friendship we’ve built throughout our journey together. Our deep respect and admiration for one another will remain a constant in our lives.
