Katie Thurston is sharing an update on her health journey.

Shortly following the Bachelorette alum disclosing her breast cancer diagnosis, she offered a glimpse into her healing journey and her experiences with frequent medical appointments and treatments.

Katie reported on her Instagram Story, dated February 19th, that she had completed the biopsy. This time it went smoother. She shared about her difficulties at her last appointment and requested additional anesthesia for the procedure.

Sharing that she’s been searching for minor comforts to ease the rigorous procedures ahead, the 34-year-old mentioned she has a CT scan and consultation scheduled later in the day as well.

In the video, I found myself shedding tears once more, and I can’t quite pinpoint why I felt compelled to apply mascara today. However, the soothing effect was undeniably comforting, and your music suggestions and recommendations were incredibly beneficial in lifting my spirits.

Among all the bliss, let me tell you, having my partner Jeff Arcuri by my side throughout this journey has been a tremendous source of comfort. I’ve been with him since May 2024, and his unwavering presence has been a constant in my life, walking every step with me.

Speaking excitedly, I shared that they granted Jeff’s presence by my side, and then I delighted in unveiling another clip – a heartwarming glimpse of the comedian, beaming as he carried my bag down the hospital corridors. Guess who’s the one always doing the lugging? None other than Jeff himself!

Nevertheless, the celebrity pondered over the grand aspirations she had visualized for her future, which were disrupted by her diagnosis.

She posted on Instagram yesterday about all the Valentine’s Day celebrations she saw couples sharing. To be truthful, I felt a pang of envy. Jeff had planned a trip to Hawaii for us, followed by a world tour, and we were looking forward to settling down together in New York City. However, instead of enjoying Valentine’s Day, I spent it arranging a new place to live as I need to return to Los Angeles for further testing and treatment.

Without a doubt, Katie’s fight against cancer presented a multitude of complex and perplexing feelings that she had to navigate.

She clarified that during the last fortnight, she went through a variety of feelings – despair, anger, sadness, denial, and eventually found herself feeling strong, determined, and ready.

Since hearing other people’s tales had been a great aid in dealing with her current situation, she promised to openly reveal her own experiences to those who might find solace in them. At the same time, she kept expressing gratitude towards Jeff for his constant encouragement as they navigated through this tough phase.

To her extraordinary future husband @jarcuri, she exclaimed, “I couldn’t manage this journey without you. The selfless affection you shower upon me surpasses anything I thought I might receive. I love you completely in this life and the one to come.
