In this delightful parade of love and heartbreak among Bachelor Nation alums, I find myself both captivated and moved by the tales unfolding before my eyes. As someone who has never stepped foot into the rose-filled world of reality television, I can only imagine the whirlwind of emotions these individuals must experience as they navigate the treacherous waters of love and fame.
This breakup news is getting thornier.
In this year’s finale of “The Bachelorette”, the claim that it would be the “most dramatic season ever” turned out to be true when it was disclosed that the leading lady, Jenn Tran, and her chosen suitor, Devin Strader, had parted ways about two months after they left Hawaii as an engaged couple. (According to Jenn, Devin ended things during a brief phone conversation.)
During the emotional live finale, the two exes clashed over how they believe it all went down. “
Devin stated, “I witnessed this stunning young lady transform into this remarkable woman all by herself on the show. None of us had a hand in shaping you; instead, it was fascinating to observe your growth into your true self.”
Upon returning to reality, devoid of cameras, he remarked, “I struggled to meet the high standards set in the virtual world. I couldn’t seem to provide what you needed and deserved. Unintentionally, I contributed to your backward steps, which pained me deeply. You deserve not to lower your expectations for happiness.”
To help clarify the unique nature of our relationship following the end of the show, I told Jenn, “Upon leaving the program, I harbored many uncertainties, and unfortunately, I held back my feelings about it. However, I’ve since shared with you that I had those doubts.”
But Jenn had a quick fiery response to the claim of honesty.
“I discovered, to my surprise, that you’d kept this from me,” I admitted, looking back on the past two months. “During that time, I invested myself fully into our connection, unaware of your lingering doubts and fears. Instead, your concealed emotions led me to believe more deeply in our love and persist in a relationship that seemed uncertain and on the brink of ending far too often.”
To which Devin conceded, “I was regretfully late on letting you know.”
Apart from voicing her opinions about the split, Jenn also swiftly pointed out some actions taken by her former partner right after they broke up. For instance, he started following Maria Georgas, a woman who initially declined the chance to become the Bachelorette, an offer that eventually went to Jenn
According to Jenn, breaking off the engagement over the phone, and then the next morning finding out that you were following girls on Instagram – specifically Maria – left her utterly bewildered and deeply disrespected. This action seemed to undermine everything they had experienced together, and she couldn’t fathom why it happened
“Devin acknowledged that Jenn was correct about the Instagram follow,” Devin said to Jenn during the live finale. “I understand how much that affected you. I’m not trying to invalidate your feelings. Clearly, I let you down. The only thing I can offer is an admission of that fact.”
Indeed, when Jenn alleged that I was out clubbing in the heart of New York City with none other than Jeremy Simon, an ex-suitor of hers, mere hours following our split, I found myself far from remorseful. Instead, I countered with a question, “Am I not entitled to my own life?”
Eventually, despite various discussions, it was clear that Jenn wished for her ex-fiance to fully grasp the significance of making a promise – this being the essence of her feelings at the close of the day
She said to Devin, “I sincerely hope you realize the importance of your words, and if you make a promise, you should be capable of keeping it.” She added, ” frankly, I could never have acted as you did in that situation. When I care for something deeply, I cherish and protect it, and I don’t casually discard it the following day.”
Referencing the proposal where Jenn knelt to propose to Devin, she remarked, “The woman standing there was prepared to battle for love, willing to give everything for a person, ready to start a family, ready to experience deep affection, and understand the essence of true love – loving someone through the difficult times, the joyous moments, and every life challenge that comes our way, unwaveringly, no matter what.”

In November 2022, Greg Grippo, who was among Katie Thurston’s suitors on The Bachelorette the previous year, appeared alongside Victoria Fuller on the season eight finale of Bachelor in Paradise. During their time there, they declared they were in a relationship. However, in April 2024, he disclosed that their relationship had ended

In November 2023, Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist became engaged on the finale of the debut season of “Golden Bachelor”, and they officially married during a televised wedding ceremony in January 2024
However, three months after their nuptials, the couple announced that they were breaking up.
During their appearance on Good Morning America with Theresa in April 2024, Gerry explained, “Theresa and I have had many personal discussions about our relationship and our living arrangement. After careful consideration, we both believe that it’s likely the right moment for us to end our marriage.”
They reached a divorce settlement in June 2024, according to court records reviewed by TopMob News.

Despite her nerves about a Paradise engagement, an all-dressed-in-white Eliza Isichei (one of Clayton Echard‘s exes) happily accepted Aaron Bryant‘s oceanfront proposal. Touched by the software salesman’s decision to reach out to her mom for her blessing, she gushed, “I knew I was not in control of what was going to come out of my mouth.”
The finale’s coda acknowledged Charity’s ex and marketing manager Eliza had hit some bumps after returning from Mexico, and days later they announced they had officially ended their engagement.
“Tricky emotions watching it all unfold,” he wrote on Instagram December 2023. “We’re leading our amicable split with nothing but positivity and mutual respect for one another.”

Though postpartum nurse Kylee Russell lamented boyfriend Aven Jones‘ unwillingness to get down on bended knee—a move he was purportedly prepared to make while romancing Bachelorette Rachel Recchia—she ultimately accepted Aven’s Paradise proposal to “get out of here and make it work.”
Though that meant her planned engagement gown remained packed, “I just had to do what I felt was right,” she said. “Love is all about taking risk.”
Two days after their December 2023 finale aired, she announced on her Instagram Stories that their relationship had “dissolved due to multiple infidelities.” Aven later issued an apology to Kylee, writing, “I have made major mistakes in the relationship and hurt someone who was very close to me.”

Zach shall get his happy ending. Despite more than a few Fantasy Suite-related stumbles, Zach Shallcross ended season 27 in March 2023 down on one knee. “I am so in love with you,” he told travel nurse Kaity Biggar. “You are my world. The love I feel for you is something I could have never imagined.”
In July 2023, the Texas-based duo made an even bigger step in their journey, with Kaity sharing on Instagram, “Officially roommates.”
The current situation: Separated.
Brandon Jones publicly declared his unwavering affection for Serene Russell during their proposal on season seven of ‘Paradise’. However, sadly, they called off their engagement just five months later in a joint statement posted on Instagram. They acknowledged the difficulties of maintaining their relationship under public scrutiny and asked for understanding as both were experiencing profound sadness and pain
The relationship between pilot Rachel and general contractor Tino Franco encountered difficulties when he kissed another woman during their 2022 season broadcast. In an interview on “The Viall Files,” he admitted, “I absolutely do not condone my actions at all. It was unfair to Rachel, and I regret it deeply. It’s something that continues to haunt me daily. I feel ashamed of what I did, and if given the chance, I would change it a million times over.”
The story unfolded as follows: Susie Evans and Clayton Echard had a rollercoaster ride during the 2022 finale, with Susie initially turning down Clayton’s proposals. However, they reconnected off-camera, only to part ways again six months later. Despite this, Susie, who resides in L.A. and works as a videographer, believes their separation was necessary. In a November 2022 blog post titled “Susie Was Like,” she expressed that her radiance had faded, and she wasn’t flourishing. She admitted they shared many happy moments, but deep down, she was grappling with difficulties and feeling out of sync with the best version of herself
After dating Justin Glaze, a contestant from Bachelor Nation, Susie later revealed that their relationship had ended by August 2024
Michelle, a teacher from Minnesota, received a Neil Lane sparkler and a $200,000 check for their future home from Nayte Olukoya, a Texas-based sales executive, on the show. However, they didn’t have a strong connection, as announced six months after the season finale aired in December 2021. Nayte admitted on The Viall Files that there were many disagreements and arguments, and not having a face-to-face conversation about their split was unfortunate, in his words, “a bit rude.”
The pair Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian, who were part of BIP season seven, found common ground with their dream of leisurely Sunday mornings. However, their journey together was brief, spanning just a few weekends

On the sixth season of “Bachelor in Paradise,” television’s first same-sex couple became engaged, yet they declared their separation in October 2019, which coincided with Halloween
They shared in a joint Instagram post that love and concern for each other have always been central to their relationship. However, they prioritize doing what’s best for them as individuals. With hearts heavy with affection, they’ve made the difficult decision to step away from their relationship. In essence, they want what’s truly beneficial in the long term, and at this moment, that means growing separately
As a lifestyle aficionado, I can share an intriguing update: Despite parting ways during the seventh season of BIP, Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer have discovered a love that transcends time and distance. After initially settling in San Diego, the intrepid travel nurse (remember, she vied for Tayshia’s heart) and the astute financial manager (he was the recipient of Matt James’ first impression rose) have recently made a significant move – purchasing a home in his hometown of Tulsa
In a bit of pre-wedding rehearsal, Serena Pitt (a finalist on Matt James’ season) and Joe Amabile (the Chicago grocery store owner who gained fame after being sent home on Becca Kufrin’s season in 2018), decided to tie the knot in a low-key ceremony at City Hall, close to their New York City residence, approximately a year after leaving Paradise as an engaged couple. About eight months later, Serena, now co-hosting the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast with her spouse, excitedly shared a video with the caption, “JUST MARRIED !!”. They are still planning a grand wedding for September, but who wouldn’t want to experience the joy of marriage twice!?

As an ardent fan, I can’t help but share my excitement about Becca and Thomas Jacobs! They found each other on Bachelor in Paradise season seven back in 2021, had their ups and downs during the show, only to reconnect after filming wrapped. In May 2022, they made the joyous announcement that they were engaged, with Becca taking the lead in proposaling! She expressed her hope that others could now feel empowered to break the norms, as she did. True to his part, Thomas reciprocated the gesture a few months later

In the final episode of ‘The Bachelorette’ season 17 in 2021, Katie got engaged to Blake Moynes. Their love blossomed during their overnight date that featured a paintball adventure, a cowboy soak, and a heart-to-heart under the night sky
Lowering himself to a single knee, Blake expressed to Katie, “You are worthy of everything the world has to offer, and I am thrilled to stand by your side and be your constant companion from hereon.”
Three months following the broadcast of their proposal, the couple revealed they were separating. In identical statements, they expressed their appreciation for the shared experiences and the year’s journey, but acknowledged that they are not a suitable match as lifelong partners. They decided it was the kindest course of action for both parties to proceed separately
As a dedicated follower, I can confirm that despite the numerous breakup rumors surrounding Matt and graphic designer Rachael Kirkconnell since their season concluded (and their brief separation followed by reconciliation), they are still deeply in love

Following her entry to take over Clare Crawley’s 2020 season of The Bachelorette, Tayshia developed feelings for Zac Clark. Despite departing the show with an engagement, Tayshia subsequently disclosed that their relationship encountered some peaks and valleys in the aftermath
In a new relationship, it can be challenging to disappear for a couple of weeks, right? And I’m being genuine when I say this, she expressed on the The Ben and Ashley I. Almost Famous podcast in August 202
After that incident, it seemed like we needed to recall the reasons we were together. And I believe that’s perfectly normal. However, as of November 2021, TopMob News reported that they had chosen different paths
Status: Split
I simply couldn’t help myself during season 16 of The Bachelorette when I found myself smitten beyond belief by Dale Moss. In fact, the universe seemed to align for us as we became engaged just four episodes in! However, the twists and turns didn’t stop there. Weeks after my replacement Tayshia had her own heart captured and received an engagement, Dale shockingly announced on social media that our love story had taken a turn, with our relationship with the hairdresser already behind us
A month later, speculation about reconciliation arose when the duo was seen together again. By July 2021, following multiple meetings, Clare and Dale were back on track—with a ring on it. However, in September, they decided to part ways once more. Now, Clare is blissfully married to Ryan Dawkins, and they’re eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first child together

Looking back at my past relationships with Hannah Ann Sluss and Madison Prewett, I had high hopes for a third chance at love. Regrettably, my romance with Kelley Flanagan from The Bachelor season 24 didn’t work out in the end. On New Year’s Eve 2020, I announced that our nine-month relationship had come to an end, leaving me to continue my journey towards finding the right connection
Pete shared on Instagram, “Though our bond was rich with numerous cherished moments, unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to last. Yet, Kelley remains someone I hold a deep affection for forever.”
In 2022, they made another attempt at flying again, but later in May, they disclosed that their relationship had come to an end
Status: Split
After the emotional 2020 finale, the pair announced on Instagram they would no longer be continuing their relationship. “Madi and I have mutually decided not to move forward in our relationship,” wrote Peter. “This was a difficult decision for both of us, but after many heartfelt discussions, we agreed that this is what works best for us. The love and regard I hold for Madi will remain strong.”
In her statement, Madi expressed, “I’ll never stop loving and valuing him. I firmly believe that our lives were destined to intersect, making us both the better for it.”
Status: Split
During season 24 of The Bachelor, Peter and Hannah Ann had a brief engagement. Regrettably, by part two of the finale, it came to light that they were facing difficulties just a month into their exclusive relationship. More specifically, Hannah Ann was taken aback when she discovered that Peter still harbored feelings for Madison
She stated, “All along, all I wanted was someone to offer their entire love as I am offering mine to them. And yet, you ended our first engagement.” She went on to say, “You took that away from me because I trusted you, and that’s what you have consistently asked of me – ‘Trust me. Have faith in me.'”
Currently, their relationship status is: Married. After living the #vanlife, Dean Unglert (a finalist on Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay’s season) and Caelynn Miller-Keyes, who were once in a relationship with Colton Underwood, parted ways during Paradise season 6 in 2019. However, since then, they have been traveling together
Status: Married
Dylan Barbour and his BIP season six love Hannah Godwin were basically knockin’ on heaven’s door when they tied the knot in a multi-day French affair. “The wedding was absolutely magical,” Hannah exclusively told TopMob News. “I married my best friend surrounded by our closest family and friends and it meant everything to us. It was a dream come true.”
Mostly, the content creator (who fell for Bachelor Colton Underwood before turning up in Mexico in 2019) is excited to officially call the tech entrepreneur (from Hannah Brown‘s season) her husband. “We obviously are in it for the long haul,” she said of building a life in San Diego together. “Our families are super involved and close. A lot of it does feel like we have that marriage type of relationship. Obviously, we want to make memories and seal the deal and everything, but it is one of those things where I feel like we are married in a sense.”
Status: Split
After numerous rumors, the pair from Bachelor in Paradise, Chris Bukowski (who started his prolonged flirtation during Emily Maynard’s season) and Katie Morton (who dated Colton), announced their split in 2019 via a joint statement on Instagram. They wrote, “We have arrived at a stage in our tale where we concur it’s best for us to move apart.” In December of that year, they expressed, “We have decided to cherish and value each other as friends because friendship forms the foundation of our relationship, and that’s what feels most authentic for us.”
