Kaity Biggar and Zach Shallcross have swapped their roses for wedding rings.
In 2023, the pair who fell in love and became engaged on “The Bachelor” season 23 finale in Thailand, eventually got married in a secluded wedding ceremony in Texas.
On the June 11th episode of the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, I shared that my special day happened on May 23rd. It was a cozy, intimate affair in a charming chapel, surrounded by our dearest friends and family members.
In the celebration, it was Zach’s parents, his two younger siblings, along with Kaity’s mother, aunt, and brother, who participated and made the occasion memorable.
“We kept it very intimate,” Zach, 28, emphasized, “Very private.”
Initially intending for a bigger wedding, Kaity’s alma mater, the Bachelor, decided to scale down their wedding plans following venue tours and careful consideration of the financial commitment required. In the end, Kaity found that her original vision had shifted.
She expressed, “I momentarily stepped away to reflect, and I thought, ‘Perhaps we don’t require all of this.’ The essence of a wedding lies in expressing our genuine love and connection. I found myself focusing excessively on minor details, such as, ‘My mom might prefer this, but those guests would prefer that,’ and I believe I was getting swept away by the details, ultimately losing sight of the main idea.
They altered their direction, and with their cherished ones looking on – including the individual who unexpectedly set them up on a date – they got married in a quaint chapel close to Austin. “My aunt, the very one who recommended me for The Bachelor, was the one who discovered this chapel that we ultimately fell for,” she shared, “it was ideal.
Although the couple remains undecided if they will hold the formal gathering for their loved ones as previously intended this year, they are certain that they will go on their honeymoon. At present, they are arranging a trip to Italy, which is scheduled for March 2026.
Zach expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “We can’t wait to arrange our honeymoon. It’s something special for us, a way to savor the height of our wedding celebration.

In the heart-pounding finale of season 21 of The Bachelorette, it seemed like former Bachelor contestant Jenn Tran had found her perfect match in Devin Strader. But little did I know, dear fellow fan, that behind the scenes, Jenn, aged 26, disclosed on After the Final Rose in September that Devin, 28, turned ice-cold as soon as the cameras stopped rolling.
During the September 3rd show, Jenn explained to host Jesse Palmer that he was once expressing passionate declarations of affection and then, without warning, seemed indifferent the very next day. The events escalated further as Devin posted a 13-minute video on Instagram, detailing his perspective and accepting responsibility, while also explaining the reasons behind ending the relationship during a 15-minute phone conversation.
Instead of claiming Jenn accused him of ending their relationship over the phone in August, he stated that Jenn asked for an explanation because he was struggling to tell her in person that he wanted to end things.
He admitted that he wasn’t sure about any other course of action, and added that he had planned on telling her face-to-face. Essentially, she made the situation such that I had no choice but to reveal it.
