Back to the Future, Beverly Hills Cop & Everything Else Leaving Netflix in September 2024

As a long-time Netflix subscriber with a soft spot for nostalgia and a penchant for binge-watching, I find myself in a bit of a pickle this month. The September lineup on Netflix is as enticing as ever, but it seems that every time I get excited about a new addition to the platform, another classic favorite gets yanked away.

Each Monday, Netflix distributes its monthly update, disclosing the entire collection of films and series joining the platform’s library during September. Typically, this announcement is accompanied by some disappointing news too – the list of titles leaving Netflix throughout the month. In this particular case, there are quite a few significant movies and shows scheduled to depart from the lineup.

Netflix has recently brought back the Beverly Hills Cop series featuring Eddie Murphy, sparking renewed interest in the original films. However, it’s sad to note that the first two Beverly Hills Cop movies will soon be departing from Netflix’s collection, with their removal scheduled for September 3rd.

In September, Netflix is going to part ways with several well-liked TV series, including a number of titles from The CW. Specifically, “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,” “iZombie,” and “Jane the Virgin” will depart on September 5th. Toward the end of the month, more shows like “Great News,” “Good Witch,” and “How to Get Away With Murder” will also be leaving Netflix.
