Bad Sisters’ killer secret under threat of being uncovered in season 2 trailer

As a film enthusiast who’s had the pleasure of watching numerous dark comedies and thrillers, I must say that the trailer for Bad Sisters season 2 is as enticing as a box of chocolates on a cold winter’s night – you never know what you’re going to get, but it’s sure to be delicious!

At long last, the trailer for season 2 of Apple TV+’s “Bad Sisters” has arrived, promising a whole lot of trouble ahead!

The trailer initiates by revealing a deceased individual, which sets off an alarm – the Garvey sisters’ composure is about to crumble.

The sisters pool their resources to attempt hiding a corpse in the ocean, simultaneously gasping in shock upon discovering the gruesome contents within their vehicle’s trunk.

However, even though murder remains a constant presence in her life, there appears to be an improvement or brightening of circumstances for Grace (Anne-Marie Duff), particularly.

Previously shared was a hinting image suggesting a possible wedding for the character Grace. The subsequent trailer indeed corroborates this assumption, showing Grace walking towards her husband-to-be, Ian, portrayed by Owen McDonnell in Killing Eve.

However, even though things seem to be improving, it appears that Fiona Shaw’s character, Angelica, is seeking information concerning the demise of John Paul (played by Claes Bang).

Pursuing more information from Roger Muldoon (Michael Smiley), it appears that Angelica is getting very close to exposing the truth. The tension increases even more when the authorities arrive with additional queries.

With suspicions running high, it appears there’s an undercurrent of tension among the Garvey sisters. Additionally, Bibi (Sarah Greene) has confessed to having unwanted thoughts concerning her sister, and it seems that she is becoming increasingly wary of Grace.

The clip also confirms the return of Daryl McCormack as Matthew Claffin and, of course, all of the main cast, which includes Sharon Horgan as Eva, Eva Birthistle as Ursula and Eve Hewson as Becka.

In a mix of dark humor and suspense, the summary for season 2 goes like this: “Two years since Grace’s husband’s ‘unintended demise’, the Garvey sisters seem to have picked up the pieces, but when long-hidden facts come back to haunt them, these women find themselves under intense scrutiny once more. With whispers and accusations flying, deceptions are rampant, secrets are uncovered, and the sisters must navigate through a web of trust to determine who among them can be relied upon.

As well as familiar faces, there’s a brand new cast of characters to get acquainted with.

In addition to Shaw signing on, the fresh lineup also features actors like Thaddea Graham (from Sex Education), Barry Ward (known for The Capture), Yasmine Akram (recognized from Sherlock), and Jonjo O’Neill (previously seen in The Fall).

Additionally, we’ve brought on board Deirdre Mullins (from “The Couple Next Door”), Lorcan Cranitch (of “Bloodlands”), Liz Fitzgibbon (known for “Normal People”), and Justine Mitchell (starring in “Smother”).

In an interview with TopMob magazine last August, Eve Hewson, star of Bad Sisters, shared that not only do they portray sisters on Apple TV+’s series, but the principal actors also share a strong bond off-screen, acting more like a real family.

She revealed: “We actually are like sisters. I just spent my whole weekend with them, and there is a sisters’ WhatsApp group. We’re very close.”
