Last month, the trailer for the freshly revealed comedy series on Sky Originals was released, featuring comedians Chris McCausland and Lee Mack squaring off in a story about antagonistic neighbors, neighborhood criminal gangs, and the magic of Christmas.
In the latest movie, McCausland and Mack take on the roles of adversarial neighbors Scott and Neil. McCausland, along with Laurence Rickard and Martha Howe-Douglas, co-wrote Bad Tidings. This trio is part of the BAFTA-winning crew behind Ghosts and Horrible Histories.

As he prepares to assume leadership of the Neighborhood Watch, it seems that he’s about to embark on quite an adventure with Neil, filled with Christmas-related chaos and conflict.
Have I encountered Chris McCausland in my film-watching escapades before? Indeed, this versatile performer has graced both the big and small screens with his comedic prowess. Known for his appearances on Me Too!, EastEnders, and The Wonders of the World I Can’t See, he recently danced his way to victory in Strictly Come Dancing’s latest season. Who is Neil, one might ask? Well, it turns out that Neil has had his fair share of conflicts with neighbor Scott. On the eve before Christmas, in the midst of their ongoing feud, Neil ended up causing quite a scene by accidentally cutting off the electricity for the entire street. Little did they know, as they were stuck together on watch duty, a local gang was planning to burglarize each house in the neighborhood.
