Channel 4 brings us the tenth season of Bake Off: The Professionals, where talented pastry chefs showcase their abilities by facing diverse tests that put their skills to the ultimate challenge!
Previously seen Bake Off competitor Liam Charles and humorous personality Ellie Taylor come back as hosts, accompanied by judges Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden, who are eager to share their knowledge about the creations of the 12 participating teams.
In the teams participating, you’ll find individuals representing hotels, restaurants, and culinary art schools spread throughout the United Kingdom, including representatives from well-known establishments such as Marriott International, Corinthia London, Hyatt Regency London, and many others.

Heat A
Marriott International

This season, it falls upon Dushantha and his teammate Dominic to step forward and proudly represent Marriott International.
For more than three decades, Dominic has been a dedicated employee of Marriott Hotels. Prior to settling in the United Kingdom in 2003, he gained experience working at hotels situated in India and various locations across the Middle East.
Currently, Dushantha, a highly accomplished pastry chef, boasts more than two decades of expertise under his belt. Notably, he was honored with a gold medal at the International Salon Culinaire 2025.
The Pony, Chew Valley

The Chew Valley Pony is not just any ordinary establishment; it doubles as a charming country kitchen, complete with an on-site kitchen garden and cooking school. This dynamic duo will be your hosts – Harry and Jim, two individuals who became acquainted more than a year back.
Harry found inspiration for his passion for pastry from the influential women in his life, particularly his mother and grandmother, who both had a knack for cooking.
As a fervent admirer, I’ve long observed Jim’s unwavering fascination with pastries, and it’s clear that his dedication to honing his craft in esteemed Michelin-starred kitchens has been a stepping stone towards mastering the challenges that lie ahead in the competition.
Lexington

The hospitality company we’re discussing is called Lexington, which operates from London. This company is managed by two women, Kitty and Yui. Although they’ve always been friends, they haven’t collaborated professionally before. They are aiming to make history as the first all-female team to win this competition.
At the age of eighteen, Kitty relocated to the United Kingdom. Shortly after, she discovered her true passion lay in the realm of pastry making. Since then, she’s accumulated valuable expertise working at Michelin-starred restaurants and luxurious hotels. Now, she’s part of the extensive team at Lexington.
Initially, Yui kicked off her professional journey working backstage in Thai soap operas. It was triumphing in a radio contest that awarded a baking class which ignited her enthusiasm within her.
Vacherin

Ericsson and Jamie are employees at the catering firm, Vacherin, and you’ll frequently spot them in the kitchen, as Taylor Swift and Beyoncé tunes fill the air at top volume.
Erycsson had a portion of his professional life catering meals for Cirque de Soleil spectators at The Royal Albert Hall, whereas Jamie developed an early fascination with baking from observing his grandmother in the kitchen during his childhood.
Crumbs & Doilies

As a passionate moviegoer, I’m thrilled to share that Crumbs & Doilies, a renowned London bakery with a vibrant and joyful flair, is the star of my tale. This creative powerhouse will grace our screens through the characters played by Dane and Sally.
Sally started out as a skilled dancer but transitioned into becoming a valuable member of the Crumbs & Doilies team since its early days. Through diligence and effort, she helped transform the small cupcake market stall into one of London’s most recognized bakery brands.
10 years back, Team leader Dane crossed paths with Sally, and their bond swiftly transformed into a strong friendship. Outside of the kitchen, you’ll often find Dane engaging in dance or producing digital content centered around skincare, beauty, and lifestyle.
The Ned

At the high-end establishment The Ned, executive pastry chef Darian and pastry chef de partie Yadira are serving as its official representatives.
Prior to relocating to the UK in 2023, Darian primarily dedicated his days to work at three-star Michelin establishments in Germany.
From a young age, Yadira would often pretend to be a chef using her play kitchen tools, and this childhood hobby led her to work in the kitchens of establishments like Hawksmoor and Philippe Conticini. Eventually, she teamed up with Darian at The Ned.

Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill
At the 2024 International Culinaire event, team leader Saskia ran into teammate Ashik; together, they were awarded the gold medal.
After discovering their shared passion for pastries and love for Sri Lanka, they soon formed a strong partnership that has lasted almost a year now.
Capital City College – Westminster
The renowned institution known as Capital City College – Westminster, previously Westminster Kingsway College, stands out in the United Kingdom as a top-tier establishment specializing in Hospitality and Culinary Arts. This esteemed college will be showcased by chef educators Steve and Ian, who happen to be longtime friends spanning over two decades.
Ladurée
As a connoisseur of sweet indulgences, I’ve had the pleasure of tasting many exquisite treats from around the world, but none compare to the enchanting delicacies crafted by Ladurée. This globally esteemed luxury brand has perfected the art of creating high-end, ethereal pastries and desserts that leave you yearning for more.
As the leader of her team, Amira – once dissatisfied with her banking job – made a change to the world of pastry-making and has never regretted it since. Alongside her, there’s Charlotte, who aspires to one day establish her own bakery.
Corinthia London
At the five-star Corinthia London hotel, we have two exceptional representatives: Kristin, originally from Taiwan, who honed her culinary skills at Le Cordon Bleu while working there and Kylie, who holds a degree in statistics, decided to move to Paris to retrain as a pastry chef.
Hotel Café Royal
Situated on Regent Street, Hotel Café Royal stands as a lavish five-star accommodation, and this year it’s participating in the contest for the third time.
Aarran and his teammate Reece have been clearly told to make sure they bring back the trophy. At only 19 years old, Reece is the newest addition to this year’s group.
Initially, Aarran embarked on his professional journey as a baker. Later, he transitioned from his hometown of Lincolnshire to Ascot, securing a role at the upscale, five-star Coworth Park Hotel.
Amun & Abbie
Captain Amun, a seasoned professional, has previously worked at prestigious hotels such as The Dorchester, The Savoy, and Mandarin Oriental. Tragically, at the age of 24, Amun suffered from Diabetic Retinopathy, leading to vision loss. After undergoing 11 surgeries over a span of 8 years, Amun now has partial sight in his right eye, making him legally blind.
In the competition, he is accompanied by his dearest friend Abbie, who he initially came to know while both were employed at Gordon Ramsay’s.
Bake Off: The Professionals begins on Tuesday 27th May at 8pm on Channel 4.
