Developer Brownies, in collaboration with publisher Bandai Namco, has unveiled the upcoming roguelike action game titled “Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree“. The game is set to release on platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, starting September 19.

In this tale, Towa, revered as a high priestess of Shinju, gathers her loyal band of eight comrades to confront Magatsu. Join forces with another guardian, harnessing the potent energy of the divine sword (Tsurugi) and staff (Kagura).
Every guardian possesses distinct skills and a collection of swords, resulting in a one-of-a-kind fighting style for each guardian duo. Accompanied by these unique companions, you’ll traverse vibrant realms, vanquish dungeons, and vanquish the minions of Magatsu!
