32-year-old stated on X (formerly Twitter) on December 7: “I can no longer stay silent. My reputation has been tarnished online in ways I typically don’t engage with. Now, I feel compelled to speak up because the boundaries are being overstepped excessively.
I’ve had enough, I stepped away because this relentless barrage of nonsense is taking a toll on what truly matters – my family and my profession. The vile messages I’ve been receiving are unthinkable for anyone to endure. They’re filled with baseless accusations, hate-filled rhetoric, cruel comments about me personally, even my parenting skills, and every other despicable thing one can conjure.
The Irish celebrity expressed that some individuals have been attacking his personality, all the values he’s tirelessly built over time, and even his family.
“Talking about how I was a heroine baby and how I grew up and dragging my dear mother into it also [sic],” he wrote. “Knocking on my grannies door. Sitting outside my baby boys house intimidating them. Thats crossing a line.”
Speaking about his 2-year-old son Brando, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Alyson Kierans, Keoghan expressed, “Every day I strive to improve myself physically and mentally so that I can be the best father possible for him. I want to offer him chances to learn, make mistakes, and grow. I hope he will look up to me, trust me completely, and know that I will always stand by his side, no matter what challenges we face.
He noted, “It’s important for him to understand everything about his father as he grows up. I kindly request that you treat the subject matter with respect. Many thanks!
After posting a series of attention-seeking photos on his Instagram Story, Keoghan decided to delete his account. These images were shared just a few days following news reports about his breakup with Carpenter, which occurred after they had been together for a year.
