Produced by Camouflaj, Arkham Shadow serves as a follow-up to Batman: Arkham Origins, occurring prior to Arkham Asylum. The game puts players on a quest to vanquish the Rat King and emphasizes linear indoor stages. Unlike previous installments, this adventure is exclusively presented from a first-person perspective.
Despite some changes, it still preserves essential gameplay elements such as free-flow combat, Detective Vision, and using tools to outsmart and defeat enemies. One thoughtful addition is that peeking around corners feels more realistic because you see things from Batman’s point of view. Interestingly, the Rat King isn’t the sole antagonist; characters like Two-Face, Scarecrow, and others also make appearances.
