The initial clips from the forthcoming Netflix animated show Devil May Cry have been revealed, featuring Kevin Conroy’s role after his passing in 2022.
In the initial teaser for the upcoming show, the voice actor renowned for portraying Batman across numerous DC productions, such as Batman: The Animated Series, can be heard.
Conroy plays VP Baines in the series, which is based on the video game of the same name.
In memory of the deceased celebrity, the show’s maker Adi Shankar posted a message on X (previously known as Twitter), stating that it was filmed prior to his demise.
Shankar commented, “AI wasn’t involved. Mr. Conroy delivered a remarkably subtle performance, making it a joy and privilege for me to collaborate with him.
As the voice behind both Dante and Nero, I feel privileged to have collaborated with none other than the legendary Kevin Conroy in the making of the forthcoming DMC series. It’s a dream come true!

Devil May Cry narrates the story of Dante, a demon slayer, as he battles against different demonic attacks on Earth.
According to the official summary from Netflix, there’s a dangerous villain who intends to unlock the doors of Hell. A strikingly attractive demon fighter might just be the key to our survival and saving the world.
Fans have been eagerly anticipating the release of the movie since its announcement in 2018, as the trailer has left them excited and wanting more, with many looking forward to watching the complete film on Netflix.
The series also stars Scout Taylor-Compton, Hoon Lee, Chris Coppola and Tony Todd.
