Unlike numerous popular games from the 2010s that have since faded away, the Bayonetta series can be seen as thriving today. For instance, Bayonetta 3 was launched as recently as 2022, and a spinoff prequel followed suit in 2023. It’s evident that PlatinumGames continues to support and nurture this franchise, with it celebrating its 15th anniversary this year.

The PlatinumGames team has taken a moment to reflect on this anniversary and expressed their intentions to keep crafting captivating games that will continue to astonish and delight us all. While they haven’t explicitly confirmed whether these new projects are additional Bayonetta installments or something entirely fresh, the anticipation is palpable. The celebration for this milestone is set to last throughout the entire year, with exciting announcements already made and many more surprises still on their way as we move into January. This exclusive item features the main melody from the initial Bayonetta game, titled “Mysterious Destiny.” Priced at €220.00, it is a valuable collector’s item for fans. Some speculate that remasters of the original Bayonetta game could be in the works, given that a completely new game might be too ambitious so soon after the spinoff.
