Beetlejuice Beetlejuice stars detail what it’s like on Tim Burton’s eccentric set

As a seasoned cinema enthusiast with a penchant for Tim Burton’s whimsical worlds, I must admit that the upcoming sequel Beetlejuice Beetlejuice has stirred an exciting anticipation within me. Monica Bellucci and Willem Dafoe joining the cast, both veterans in their own right, adds a layer of intrigue to the already captivating premise.

In Tim Burton’s upcoming sequel Beetlejuice, several actors who have previously worked with him are featured – this includes Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, and Jenna Ortega from Wednesday. However, there are also some well-known faces making their debut in one of the director’s peculiar movies

“Dafoe, portraying the late Wolf Jackson in the movie, analogized it as if they were at a funfair,” is one way to paraphrase the original sentence while maintaining its meaning and readability

“Since it’s filled with numerous small jokes and various delights, and you explore… let’s say, discuss the office [his character’s office in the film]. I don’t contribute to this, rather it has been tailored for me, and I venture into it, discovering so much data there.”

He continued: “There’s so much interplay, there’s so much good… It tells you what to do. That really strikes me, that it’s a complete world, and then you fold into it. And that’s always a pleasure as an actor.”

Bellucci, portraying Beetlejuice’s former spouse Delores, concurred, expressing, “It was equally beneficial for me as well. You see, the opportunity to work in such stunning sets, don those fabulous costumes, and endure three hours of makeup application every day was truly a delight!”

As a movie buff, I’m not only interested in exploring the practical aspects of my role, but I’m also eager to delve deeply into the emotional journey and growth of my character

“She pointed out the need to understand and feel the emotions of this character, stating ‘she’s much like any one of us.’ You see, she bears emotional wounds, something we can all relate to. What sets her apart is that she has physical scars to show for hers!”

“I enjoyed playing with those trinkets. Turns out, she became incredibly wicked. Yet, it was such a delightful time!”

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is released in UK cinemas on Friday 6th September.
