Bella Hadid Makes Angelic Return to Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

As I gaze upon these dazzling images from the Victoria’s Secret 2024 Show, I can’t help but feel a tinge of awe and admiration. Each of these individuals has carved out a unique niche for themselves in their respective fields, and it’s truly inspiring to see them all coming together on this pink carpet.

An angel has returned home.

At the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on October 15th, Bella Hadid elegantly took the stage, signaling her reentry into the fashion world after a two-year hiatus from the catwalk. This return, filled with warmth and anticipation, marked a heartfelt homecoming for her in the world of style.

As Cher belted out “Believe,” Bella gracefully walked the Victoria’s Secret runway, donning a vibrant red two-piece lingerie set beneath a voluminous crimson and black cloak with a trailing train. She accessorized with striking red heels and wore her signature long, straight brunette hair styled in a sophisticated bob.

She recently made a comeback to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, an event that last occurred in 2018. This return signifies her gradual re-entry into the fashion industry. In September, during Paris Fashion Week, she walked the runway for the Saint Laurent Womenswear Spring-Summer 2025 show, marking her first official catwalk appearance since October 2022.

For the show, the 28-year-old sported an oversized black suit, white button-down and tie paired with black-rimmed sunglasses and a sleek bun hairdo.

Moreover, even though Bella consistently poured all her passion and devotion into her catwalk performances, she decided to step back momentarily from the fashion realm, an environment that she believed was not reciprocating her efforts adequately.

In a recent interview with Allure, published on April 30, Bella revealed, “After a decade of modeling, I came to understand that I had been investing so much emotion, dedication, and passion into a field that, in the grand scheme of things, wasn’t always reciprocating my efforts.

However, Bella isn’t unfamiliar with stepping away from fashion when she deems it appropriate, as seen in her decision to halt her partnership with Victoria’s Secret in 2020 after accusations—some of which were made by herself—of sexual harassment and bullying towards her by Ed Razek, the company’s ex-brand officer.

However, in December 2021 it was announced that Bella had decided to reteam with the fashion brand.

The reason I decided to return was because they reached out to me and showed me convincingly that Victoria’s Secret has undergone significant transformations behind the scenes, she shared with Marie Claire on the day of the comeback announcement. There seemed to be a sense of change, one that many former Victoria’s Secret workers might have felt as well. Now, six out of seven board members are women, and there are new photography guidelines in place. As a result, things have changed quite a bit.
