Kyle Stillie is rocking the boat.
Following the stir caused by the Below Deck actor appearing to get romantically involved with a charter guest as seen in the season 12 preview, the crew member is now speaking out about the uproar sparked by this questionable event.
The Deckhand shared with TopMob News, “I can only tell you that this year’s charter season was fantastic. Keep watching as things get even more intriguing, I believe the end result will captivate you.
According to the preview, Kyle receives a stern reprimand from Captain Kerry Titheradge due to his late-night escapade on the beach involving a female tourist.
Damo Yorg, my fellow deckhand, had to gently but firmly remind me that I needed to inform the captain about the ongoing situation, as it was being discussed among us. This was a difficult talk, particularly since it took place the day after my birthday. Being hungover and having to confront the captain wasn’t exactly how I wanted to spend that day.
He mentioned, “It really dampens my mood even more after his actions, so I don’t cherish those moments.
Although Kyle confessed to having some regrets after season 12, he’s not offering an apology for the suspected rule violations.
He considered his past actions and acknowledged that while he stands by everything he did, there were certain responses to particular situations he wishes he had handled differently. However, he believes this experience was instrumental in his personal growth.
In other words, was Kyle’s romantic involvement with Captain Kerry the reason for his dismissal? He hinted, “It’s amazing I even lasted until the end of the season.
Concerning their current relationship following the incident’s aftermath, Kyle fervently hopes that Kerry continues to view him favorably.
He confessed that he definitely checked on Kerry this year regarding social interaction or friendly conversations with the attendees, if you prefer that phrasing. Time will tell what he has to say about it, but I believe I have managed to maintain his respect as captain. I certainly hope that’s the case.
