It’s high time for us to delve back into Kentaro Miura’s intricately crafted dark universe, known as Berserk. Unfortunately, we can’t anticipate regular weekly or monthly releases of new chapters featuring the Band of the Hawk. However, manga enthusiasts won’t have to wait much longer for chapter 381 of Berserk, as its publisher, Young Animal, has revealed the expected release date. Despite the extended wait compared to other manga series, it promises to be a rewarding read.
In the upcoming Chapter 381 of Berserk, set for release by Young Animal on June 13th next month, the struggle between Griffith’s formidable army and the Kushan Empire will continue to unfold. Despite Guts and his companions finding unexpected allies, they still face a challenging journey ahead. After Casca was revived in the mystical realm of Elfhelm, she was abducted by Griffith, causing Guts to question his worth to others. Unfortunately, this emotional turmoil comes at an inopportune moment.
Berserk’s Endgame
After the sad death of Berserk’s creator Kentaro Miura, writer Kouji Mori and the artists at Studio Gaga chose to pay tribute to their late friend by wrapping up the story of the main character, Guts. Using notes and conversations with Miura as a guide, this new creative team has been crafting chapters aimed at concluding the journey of the Band of the Hawk. Imitating Miura’s artistic style is challenging, but the current team has managed to maintain the high quality in the manga series.
Although we may have to wait several more years for the final chapter’s release, Mori has previously hinted at having a concluding storyline in place. Given that Casca regained her consciousness and Guts acquired new companions among the Kushan, the stage seems set for an intense confrontation between Guts, his allies, and Griffith’s corrupted version of the Band of the Hawk. When our heroes ultimately reach Falconia, overcoming the White Hawk will not be an easy victory.
Where Is The Berserk Anime?
It’s been a while since Guts and their group last appeared in a new anime series adaptation. Although fans could enjoy the original film trilogy with the upgraded Berserk: Memorial Edition, the last time was the two-season Berserk series, which stirred quite a bit of debate within the anime community. The gritty Berserk franchise has had several TV seasons, but there are many manga chapters still unadapted for television, and if ever animated, they would result in numerous episodes.
