The gritty and highly acclaimed manga series, “Berserk,” is often considered one of the greatest and darkest of all time, and rightly so. Though Kentaro Miura’s masterpiece has led to numerous anime adaptations and continued even after its creator’s untimely death, reading through it all can sometimes prove challenging. Unlike services like Shonen Jump, the tale of the Band of the Hawk isn’t readily available in a library for Western manga enthusiasts. Fortunately, fans now have the opportunity to read the entirety of “Berserk” at no cost; however, there are certain conditions attached to following Guts’ storyline.
In celebration of Valentine’s Day on February 14th, Chapter 379 of the manga “Berserk” will be released! To mark this occasion, the publishers at Young Animal are offering fans a chance to read the entire Band of the Hawk’s journey for free. However, there are a couple of things to keep in mind: firstly, the manga is still in Japanese; secondly, you’ll have only 48 hours to complete the series. Berserk Rages Forward
Previously in the Eastern Exile Arc, our heroes found themselves in a precarious situation. Guts gained some significant new allies due to Kushan’s desire to oppose Griffith, but things have taken a turn for the worse as not only has the White Hawk dispatched one of his top assassins to cause chaos, but there are indications that a member of the Godhand could re-enter the physical world. The destruction of Elfhelm by Griffith’s actions ensures a challenging path for Guts in the coming days, which is nothing unfamiliar to our battle-worn protagonist.
Currently, the creator Kouji Mori and Studio Gaga haven’t given any indication as to when they will conclude the manga “Berserk”. However, with the story progressing towards its climax, the colleagues of Kentaro Miura are working diligently to deliver a fitting conclusion that does justice to the series.
A Berserk Anime?
Despite not yet announcing a new anime adaptation, there are several Berserk projects worth exploring. The 1997 version is often considered the best, while Berserk: Memorial Edition converted the trilogy of films into a TV series. However, the 2016 Berserk series drew controversy due to its subpar animation, as noted by fans.
