Loner

As a game enthusiast, I find myself drawn to the Loners, who are on the opposite spectrum from the Bandits, yet share some similarities without the negative connotations. They’re explorers, scouring for resources and wealth, but they’re not lawbreakers or troublemakers. Unlike the Bandits, they don’t aspire to dominate the Zone; instead, they aim to coexist with it. This choice is perfect for players who prefer a more peaceful gaming experience and enjoy interacting with numerous merchants.
In the game, players may come across various non-allied groups as well. These consist of the Military, Mercenaries, Renegades, and Ecologists. The Ecologists are essentially scientists, whereas the others will serve as formidable opponents they can engage in combat with. All these factions reappear in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.
Which Factions Should You Join in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky
In this game, various groups constantly battle for power over specific regions. As a player, you can impact which factions hold sway in different parts of the game world. By aligning with diverse factions, you’ll receive unique perks and missions. Yet, such alliances will also make other factions hostile towards you. Luckily, players can experience every quest in the game in just 2 playthroughs.
Initially, players need to pick between the factions Freedom or Duty based on their preference. Choosing one means becoming enemies with the other. Later on, they have the option to switch factions, and this could lead to them being enemies with their previous choice. In a second round of play, players should opt for the opposite factions from their first playthrough.
