A bit of patience and a knack for spotting low points on those beams will do the trick.

It appears a secret lies within Diaval’s physical form. Head to the Sacred Flame Stadium for information regarding Diaval. How To Start Between Pledge and Forgettance
Essential! To unlock this quest, make sure you finish “Beneath the Crystal Rock” and “Tracer No Tracing” first. Once these tasks are done, the quest should become available to you as you continue your explorations, particularly in relevant locations.
If the quest isn’t visible yet, why not head over to the specified area as that’s where your adventure began with Manqu. It’s there where you can acquire the Rite of the Bold quest.
Rite of the Bold Quest
After receiving the task, your first step should be to make your way to the Children of Echoes. At present, simply follow the guidance provided by your quest and have a conversation with Manqu when you arrive. He’ll transport you to another spot where you’ll engage in a brief skirmish with Pacal. Don’t worry, it won’t be too challenging. If you emerge victorious, you’ll acquire the Sage of the Stolen Flame. This will conclude the ongoing Rite of the Bold, and immediately afterward, you’ll receive the next part of the quest.
Revelations from the Past Quest
Upon finishing the “Rite of the Bold” quest, the “Revelation from the Past” quest will be instantly unlocked for you. After acquiring the required token, embark on a journey towards the Pacal volcano, which should be indicated by a marker on your quest map.
Once you’ve vanquished some mobs and set the talisman at the indicated spot, you’ll notice two radiant crystals – one orange and the other green. The orange crystal is for the Traveler, while the green crystal corresponds to your Saurian. Keep this in mind as all the puzzles within this quest are connected to it. Furthermore, you have the ability to switch viewpoints (control both the Traveler and the Saurian).
To begin, position your character below the orange gemstone. Next, change your viewpoint by hitting ‘T’ and guide your Saurian to a spot beneath the green gemstone. Subsequently, keep moving according to the directions, and activate the waypoints hidden within the ancient ruins to open up the path.
Once you encounter the next challenge, give the switch a single tap and shift your viewpoint to that of a Saurian. Then, guide your Saurian through the platforms towards the left section of the area. There, you will find a Pyroculus resting on top of a damaged totem.
Utilize your dinosaur companion to excavate the monument. After that, change your viewpoint back to Traveler and unleash the Pyro attack on the totem. Upon activation, it will create a secret passage for your dinosaur to advance towards the green crystal.
Change to your lizard-like form and make your way towards the right direction. You’ll find a lever over there, so pull it to adjust the position of the platform.
In the image you see, the platform’s location will resemble that. From the viewpoint of a Traveler, direct your character to ascend to the platform I’ve highlighted. Once your figure has reached the top, change back to Saurian and once more interact with the switch so the platform moves upward again. This way, your character will be positioned beneath the orange crystal.
Finally, please position your dinosaur figure towards the spot where the green crystal is located. Doing so should resolve the puzzle and allow access to the door leading to the subsequent location.
Next, continue along the path for a deeper exploration of the ruins. At a specific point, you’ll part ways with your Saurian companion as you enter separate rooms and find yourselves locked in. From then on, you’ll alternate controlling each perspective individually to solve the puzzles.
Initially, encounter the Saurian. Proceed along the sole available path and you’ll arrive at an open space. In this area, simply follow the path and engage anything that can be demolished, such as the glowing spots on the ground or destructible rocks, to advance further.
Saurian’s challenge is straightforward: Locate the Shimmering Crystal close to the massive crystal fragment and destroy each Shimmering Crystal to finish the puzzle and shatter the large crystal piece. You can tackle them one at a time. Then, keep moving along the path until you reach the end of this zone, which is also near another big crystal fragment.
In this scenario, the puzzle remains unchanged. You should initially strike the initial Tremulous Crystal. Following this action, another crystal will appear beside it. By hitting all of them, you will cause a large chunk of crystal to break off, enabling access to the platform where the Pyroculus resides. Once this task is accomplished, there’s no further action to take here, so it’s time to switch over to the Traveler’s perspective.
Since you’ve resumed your human form, the situation here has become riskier. You’ll notice numerous beams around, and should you touch any of them, your Phlogiston Level will momentarily increase.
With your Elemental Vision, notice the fragile wall situated to your left. Perform a dive attack in its vicinity to detonate the explosive and shatter the wall.
Ascend the staircase and move smoothly over the rafters. Continue along this route until you encounter another set of rafters.
If possible, take advantage of characters such as Kazuha or Venti. However, if you don’t have them, find the lowest point where you can make a leap to traverse the beams. Additionally, use a short character to navigate beneath the beam. Interact with the mechanisms situated behind all those beams to open a gate. Pass through the gate to reach the next challenge.
For your next challenge, you should make all monuments glow simultaneously. To achieve this, ascend the stairs, then interact with any of the beams there which will cause the Liquid Phlogiston levels to increase and illuminate all the monuments. Once done, promptly dash to the switch located at the top and engage it. If the Liquid Phlogiston level drops, the Pyro monument will turn off, requiring you to repeat the process again. Lastly, follow the quest guidance until you link up with Saurian once more.
After linking up with your dinosaur companion again and carving a route to the depths of the lava flow, it’s time for a boss battle. You’ll face off against a couple of Rifhtounds followed by the elusive Golden Wolflord. This tricky foe tends to hover around, so make sure your team is well-prepared beforehand. However, it’s important to note that your dinosaur ally will prove most helpful during this fight. After successfully defeating the boss, simply follow the quest guide to finish the mission and earn the achievement “[The Gold of the Sun, and Blood…]”.
The Road Ahead Quest
After escaping the fiery depths below, I’ll wrap up the Revelations from Pasth quest and promptly receive The Road Ahead. To proceed, I just need to hook up with Manqu at the entrance of the ancient ruins. My map should mark the spot for me. Easy peasy!
