Beyoncé’s Mom Tina Knowles Shares Insight Into Family Holiday Plans

As a dedicated fan and admirer of Beyoncé, I can’t help but be in awe of her extraordinary journey and the beautiful lives she has nurtured along the way. From her meteoric rise to fame as a member of Destiny’s Child to her phenomenal success as a solo artist, she has continually amazed us with her talent, resilience, and unwavering dedication to her craft.

Ten, ten, ten across the board for Tina Knowles’ Christmas game plan.

Actually, it turns out that Beyoncé’s mom is aware of the plans for celebrating her eldest, Blue Ivy Carter (who is 12 years old), and Jay-Z’s children, twins Rumi Carter and Sir Carter (both 7), during this upcoming holiday season.

In a private conversation with TopMob News during the Paley Center for Media’s Fall Gala on December 4th, Tina explained that, just like any other family, we purchase toys for our children because that’s what they enjoy.

However, it’s not just toys that the matriarch intends to contribute; she also has plans for edible items, which we mean in a literal sense.

Apart from her regular holiday customs, she also emphasized the tradition of preparing her mouthwatering gumbo. She recently prepared it during Thanksgiving, and it attracted a large crowd. It’s all about sharing delicious food, companionship, and family time.

For the 70-year-old—who is also mom to daughter Solange Knowles with ex Matthew Knowles—the holiday season can be summed up simply: “Music and family—that’s what it’s about.” (For more with Tina, tune into TopMob News tonight, Dec. 5 at 11 p.m.)

On the musical front, there’s plenty to rejoice about. It’s not every day that your daughter earns the title of Billboard’s top popstar of the century thus far.

Tina expressed her admiration for Beyoncé’s latest success, stating that “She truly deserves it.” Tina believes that maintaining relevance and dominance in the industry for 25 years isn’t simple, and she credits Beyoncé for significantly shaping culture. According to Tina, Beyoncé has repeatedly transformed culture multiple times over.

She mentioned, “It’s not only about album sales, but also about lasting in the industry. It’s essential to be a genuine artist, pouring your heart and soul into your work.

A glimpse into the private life of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, provided by Tina, is unusual, since these musical titans typically prefer to shield their domestic matters from public scrutiny.

In the spirit of candor, as I’ve shared before, I’ve put immense effort into preserving a sense of normality and privacy for my kids, striving to keep my personal life separate from my professional brand. It’s all too easy for celebrities like myself to transform our lives into a stage performance.

Yet, recently, Tina shared her wisdom as a proud grandmother, highlighting the growing skills of Rumi and Sir.

In August, Tina shared with TopMob News that Rumi is a shining, naturally gifted child, while Sir prefers reading books and working with electronic devices.

On the ranging interests, she boasted, “We got them all, raising them up right.”

If Rumi were to perform alongside her mother, as Blue Ivy has done, Tina stated that her granddaughters will certainly have the opportunity.

As she pointed out, “They’re all artists. How could they not?”

As I grow up, if the three Carter kids express an interest in delving deeper into their parents’ musical realm, numerous chances will be at their fingertips. It’s evident that when Beyoncé discusses her children, she emphasizes their significance in her life – indicating a welcoming environment for their involvement in her world of music.

The former Destiny’s Child member explained to GQ that her children accompany her wherever she goes. They visit her office after school hours, and they join her in the recording studio as well.

She explained that her job arrangements revolve around her family’s needs. Specifically, she chooses to work during periods when her children are not in school. Her ambition has always been to travel with her family, immersing them in various cultures, languages, architectural wonders, and lifestyles worldwide.
