Supporters of Death in Paradise might feel a tinge of disappointment as the current season winds down, yet there’s no cause for worry! The spin-off series, Beyond Paradise, is back on track, with its third season ready to debut soon.
Indeed, the much-anticipated third season is set to premiere! It’s confirmed to begin broadcasting at 8:00 PM on Friday, 28th March, and will be available for viewing on both BBC One and the BBC iPlayer platform.
In the upcoming season, the main actors from the series will reprise their roles to unravel fresh enigmas. Specifically, Kris Marshall, Sally Bretton, Dylan Llewellyn, Felicity Montagu, and Barbara Flynn will be returning.
In the upcoming season, we’ll see Jamie Bamber reprising his role as Archie, who was missing from the previous season. Additionally, Jade Harrison and Melina Sinadinou will return to their characters CS Charlie Woods and Zoe Williams respectively.

In the forthcoming season, the team encounters various puzzling situations: from a corpse found in a river along the county boundary, to a confounding case of chocolate box poisoning, an age-old agricultural dispute, and a mysterious event occurring at sea.
Moving beyond the police station, Martha and Humphrey face unforeseen obstacles in their role as foster parents. Meanwhile, the return of Martha’s former love interest, Archie, adds an unexpected complication to their lives.
At the same time, Esther encounters an unexpected turn in her private affairs, Anne grapples with distressing recollections after a health alarm, and Kelby initiates a life-changing exploration of self.
In addition to Hugh Dennis and Caroline Quentin, other notable actors will grace our screens in Season 3. This new season follows closely on the heels of a significant crossover episode, though it won’t be with the show you might initially suspect.
Instead of Death in Paradise or Return to Paradise, you might be referring to “Not Going Out,” a sitcom where Bretton also appears alongside Lee Mack.
The crossover sketch will air as part of the Red Nose Day broadcast on Friday 21st March.
The third season of the show “Beyond Paradise” will be aired on BBC One, and you can stream seasons 1 and 2 on BBC’s online platform, BBC iPlayer.
