As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I can barely contain my excitement for the upcoming release of Black Myth: Wukong! Four long years have passed since its initial announcement, and it’s finally nearing its launch date. The developer, Game Science, has been diligently working on perfecting this masterpiece, ensuring that every detail is polished to perfection.
Approximately two weeks prior to its global release, the game development by Game Science titled “Black Myth: Wukong” has been finalized. This announcement was made via a tweet, assuring that the hack-and-slash title will be launched “on schedule.”
Currently, our whole team is putting in the extra effort in the last phases of playing, examining, and launching the game. Meanwhile, a fresh trailer will be unveiled on August 8th at 10 AM Beijing time (which is 7 PM PT on August 7th). To maintain an element of surprise for everyone, we kindly request that players avoid disclosing information or sharing spoilers about content yet to be released.

On August 20th, Black Myth: Wukong will be released on PS5 and PC. This game is inspired by the Chinese novel Journey to the West, where the main character, the Destined One, faces numerous obstacles. While it incorporates some mechanics similar to the Souls series, the hero also has the ability to morph into various enemies and bosses, allowing them to use their unique moves.
