Sebastian went on to say, “A lot of you have been following my mom, yet most of you didn’t get a chance to know her or meet her in person. I thought it would be great to share with you who she truly was. She was not just my mother, but also my best friend, the one who nurtured me more than anyone else, and someone who showed immense love and care for everyone.

Approximately three weeks ago, the jewelry designer Lynn Ban announced she had been involved in an accident and underwent surgery as a result.
In the twinkling of an eye, life can take a turn… is how she captioned her Dec. 30 photo featuring half a shaved head. On Christmas Eve, under the warm sun in Aspen during our family vacation, I had a ski accident that would drastically alter my life’s course.
The celebrity who’s known for reality TV shows mentioned that, since she had on a helmet, the occurrence didn’t appear too serious to her. She even managed to ski all the way down the mountain before medical ski patrol declared her free from any indications of a concussion.
She said, “I was experiencing a minor headache, believing it would pass after having some food, I thought I could resume skiing. However, a paramedic advised me to get a CAT scan at the hospital, which turned out to be a lifesaving decision.
Following the news at a nearby medical center that Lynn suffered a brain hemorrhage, she was helicoptered to a trauma center for urgent surgical treatment.
Lynn recounted that the last thing she remembered was being intubated and waking up following an emergency craniotomy, with Jett by her side. She knows there’s a long road to recovery ahead, but as someone who fights, she’s thankful for the ski patrol, the remarkable team of doctors and nurses, and the support from her family and friends.
She concluded her message with a statement expressing that “GOD IS GREAT” and expressed her gratitude and blessings for witnessing the arrival of the new year.
