Bloober Team, known for creating Silent Hill 2, has unveiled a new horror-focused label called Broken Mirror Games, aimed at assisting other studios in publishing their terrifying titles. The inaugural project under this label is named I Hate This Place and is set to release on PlayStation 5 towards the end of 2025. You can view the trailer for this exciting new horror title above.
The game offers an isometric survival horror adventure, reminiscent of a popular comic book series penned by Kyle Starks. In this hostile environment, players find themselves outnumbered and pursued. To prevail, they must use quick thinking to adapt their surroundings, outsmarting powerful adversaries in intense firefights and close-quarters combat where cleverness triumphs over raw strength, as suggested by a press announcement.

According to Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno, the team aims to continually explore the limits of horror across various aspects. The upcoming game, developed by Broken Mirror Games and titled “I Hate This Place,” reflects this ambition. With its combination of survival elements, compelling narrative, and unique visual style, we are confident that “I Hate This Place” will draw players into a chilling, unforgettable experience.
In addition to introducing a fresh horror label, Bloober Team is currently working on “Cronos: The New Dawn” and is collaborating with Konami on another venture, inspired by the success of Silent Hill 2.
