The ending theme, entitled “Overlap”, is performed by Shiyui, who have previously produced tracks for “DEMON LORD 2099” and “Mobile Suit Gundam: Witch From Mercury”. These songs will be released for streaming on January 5, 2025, alongside the series premiere.
In the Blue Night Saga of the manga “Blue Exorcist,” a significant storyline unfolds. This part delves deeper into Satan’s past, particularly focusing on the horrific details of the “Blue Night” incident where Satan brutally killed numerous exorcists and holy men globally in an attempt to take over their bodies. The narrative follows Rin, now sporting white hair, as he delves into the event’s mystery, expanding upon the established world of “Blue Exorcist” to create a captivating storyline for both new and long-time fans of the series. According to the trailer, Studio VOLN is aiming to bring every detail of this story arc to life in an ambitious adaptation.
