Blue Eye Samurai Season 2 Progress Update

In response to inquiries about the progress of Season 2 of “Blue Eye Samurai,” Amber Noizumi, the Executive Producer and writer, simply said, “We’re currently developing it.” Michael Green, the Executive Producer and Director, added some additional details and hinted that the upcoming episodes will be even more ambitious. He expressed his enthusiasm by stating, “We’re thrilled with how things are shaping up. It’s going really well. We have an outstanding team who are using their skills and expertise to push the boundaries once again. Not only that, but we’re aiming for the impossible, pushing our strengths, and even trying some truly innovative and wild ideas.”

As a dedicated fan, I can share that during our conversation, Supervising Director Jane Wu hinted at her apprehension about disclosing too many details about the upcoming season. However, she did mention that she was actively exchanging messages with her team while we were speaking. Remarkably, Green shared an interesting tidbit – they were actually in the process of finalizing the first episode during our interview! This means that Jane was sending approvals or providing feedback in real-time. After our chat concludes, they plan to check their emails and review the latest designs and early storyboards for their debut episode.

In the meantime as we eagerly anticipate Season 2 of “Blue Eye Samurai”, why not take this opportunity to revisit or catch up on the first season, currently available for streaming on Netflix.
