In a Q&A session on the official Instagram account for ‘Blue Lock’, its producer Ryoya Arisawa addressed fans’ queries, including some regarding the animation of season two. During this exchange, when inquired about the ‘Blue Lock’ anime adaptation, Arisawa provided the following reply:

Arisawa stated, “I’m still very much striving for more. The story of Blue Lock revolves around pushing one’s ‘ego’ to gain even greater power, and in a sense, feeling content signifies the halt of progress. Characters such as Isagi and others are constantly driving themselves towards increased strength, regardless of whether they win or lose. I share this mindset with everyone involved in the Blue Lock anime, and I believe we will never let ourselves reach complete satisfaction in our pursuit moving forward.

Arisawa additionally addressed queries concerning the distinctions between Blue Lock seasons 1 and 2.
