BOMBSHELL: Beloved Emily in Paris Star Abruptly Exits Show

The fifth season of the show is nearing production, and it’s been confirmed through a recent Netflix statement that one main cast member will be leaving.

According to the latest updates, Camille Razat, a regular cast member in the first four seasons of Emily in Paris, will not be appearing in Season 5. However, it was confirmed that several other cast members will return for the upcoming season, including Lily Collins (Emily Cooper), Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Sylvie Grateau), Ashley Park (Mindy Chen), Samuel Arnold (Julien), Bruno Gouery (Luc), William Abadie (Antoine Lambert), Lucien Laviscount (Alfie), Thalia Besson (Genevieve), and Eugenio Franceschini (Marcello).

According to the show’s creator Darren Star, we’re overjoyed by the fantastic reception given to the current season of “Emily in Paris,” and we can’t wait to embark on another journey with Emily as she explores both Rome and Paris for a fifth season!

Lucas Bravo Is Making an Unexpected Return

In Season 5, Lucas Bravo’s character Gabriel, who previously harbored reservations about his part, will be present as well. During an interview in October 2024, Bravo confessed his hesitation to return, expressing, “In the first season, there was a lot of me in him. However, as they made him increasingly oblivious to his surroundings and constantly manipulated by others, it became less enjoyable for me to film or watch a character I care deeply about being gradually turned into mush. I had grown distant from him.

For many months, I’ve strived to add depth, but on set, there isn’t much room for flexibility. We can’t modify a single word or feeling. They have a clear vision, and we simply must follow it. This has me contemplating whether I wish to participate in Season 5 as my contract concludes at the end of Season 4.

The filming for Season 5 of Emily in Paris starts in May, with an anticipated release date towards the end of 2025.
