In the pricier editions of Borderlands 4, it is assured that the game will offer at least four downloadable content packs following its release. These additional contents will introduce fresh locations, missions, and exclusive bosses. Moreover, they’ll incorporate four Vault Cards with unique challenges and prizes; new equipment, firearms, vehicles (four in total), and cosmetic items for Vault Hunters.

Additionally, it seems that the Super Deluxe Edition comes with the ability to play two additional story expansions. These expansions will introduce new characters to play as, along with extra missions and quests.

In a recent announcement, founder and president Randy Pitchford expressed his greatest excitement yet about releasing Borderlands 4. This latest installment serves as an inviting starting point for newcomers to the series, all while paying a warm tribute to long-time fans of the original games.

Earlier, Pitchford admitted he wasn’t aware of Borderlands 4’s price, and seemed to suggest that dedicated fans would manage to purchase a $80 game. However, it has been revealed that the basic edition will be $10 less expensive. Despite this, Pitchford has issued an apology for his earlier comments.
