As a seasoned gamer with over three decades under my belt, I can’t help but feel a twinge of anticipation when it comes to the upcoming releases from Take-Two Interactive. The year 2025 promises to be a veritable treasure trove for gaming enthusiasts like myself, with heavy hitters like Grand Theft Auto 6 and Civilization 7 gracing our screens.
2025 promises to be a bustling year for Take-Two Interactive, as they have several significant releases lined up across their publishing divisions. Rockstar Games is set to debut “Grand Theft Auto 6” in the Fall, while “Civilization 7” from 2K will hit shelves in February. Furthermore, “Mafia: The Old Country” and “Borderlands 4”, also from 2K, have been announced for 2025, but specific release dates for these two titles within the year are yet to be disclosed.
According to their latest financial report, Take-Two Interactive has announced that two upcoming games, initially revealed in August, are planned for release during their fiscal year 2026 (April 2025 – March 2026). While these games have tentative release windows set for 2025, the actual launch dates might extend into the early months of 2026. This means we can anticipate that they won’t be coming out in early 2025, but there’s a chance they could arrive sooner in the following year.
Both games, “Borderlands 4” and “Mafia: The Old Country,” will simultaneously debut on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms.
