2K Publishers and Gearbox Software developers have unveiled a sneak peek trailer and images for the upcoming game, titled Borderlands 4.

According to Gearbox Software’s leader Randy Pitchford, “Borderlands 4” is all about embracing freedom and being incredibly cool. He claims that this world we’re creating is our biggest and craziest yet – it’s teeming with obnoxious ratnozzle scrote monsters who deserve to meet their end at the hands of some truly outlandish, over-the-top weaponry. At The Game Awards, a fresh trailer debuted featuring a character called The Timekeeper – a merciless ruler who controls from above. A cataclysmic event looms over his flawless regime on Kairos, the most perilous planet yet discovered within the Borderlands universe, causing chaos and turmoil everywhere.

In its most simplified terms, Borderlands 4 stands as the most daring installment yet within the Borderlands series. This masterpiece has been intricately designed by the same development team who pioneered the looter shooter genre. The game advances the franchise’s gameplay and narrative in innovative ways, all while maintaining the signature Borderlands experience cherished by fans, featuring elements such as:

  • Intense action, badass Vault Hunters, and billions of wild and deadly weapons on an all-new planet ruled by a ruthless tyrant.
  • The deepest and most diverse Vault Hunter skill trees of any Borderlands title yet, giving players an unprecedented level of expression through their builds.
