In the overhaul of Borderlands 4, Legendary items now feel more like unique occurrences, giving players even greater incentives for continuous gameplay. Luckily, if you’re aiming to confront specific bosses, it’s simpler than ever with Moxxi’s Enhanced Loot Machine.
In the recent State of Play, it was disclosed that instead of fighting, saving, and hoping for valuable loot drops, players can now directly access the machine, load up the boss fight. Additionally, Gearbox has confirmed that you’re able to replay missions if desired. This means that fans who enjoyed specific missions during the campaign no longer need to create a new character and start from scratch.
The final details for the game were not disclosed yet, but Gearbox will reveal them as we approach the launch date on September 12th. There’s a chance we’ll get more information during a hands-on gameplay event in June, which is around the time of Summer Game Fest.
The upcoming game titled Borderlands 4 is scheduled for release on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Originally planned for September 23rd, the launch date has been moved forward due to rapid development progress, not due to any other titles (as confirmed by CEO Randy Pitchford).
