Borderlands: Florian Munteanu Talks Bonding With Co-Stars

As a long-time fan of both action-packed movies and video games, I am beyond thrilled about Eli Roth’s “Borderlands” hitting theaters tomorrow! Having grown up playing the game series, it feels surreal to see the vibrant world of Pandora leap onto the big screen.

Tomorrow, Eli Roth’s movie “Borderlands” is set to hit theaters, where Florian Munteanu from “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” will portray Krieg. In this film, he joins forces with Cate Blanchett (as Lilith), Jamie Lee Curtis (Patricia Tannis), Kevin Hart (Roland), Ariana Greenblatt (Tiny Tina), and Jack Black (Claptrap). Munteanu recently shared some insights about the movie with ComicBook, discussing his camaraderie with his fellow cast members.

As often as possible, I’d share meals and drinks with my fellow cast members. Kevin, being quite the athlete, and I were working out almost daily, unless our schedules clashed or he had to film on a different day. However, outside of those instances, we were training together frequently.

He continued, “We shared numerous meals and precious moments where we could escape the chaotic realm of Pandora and simply be ourselves, deepening our understanding of one another. As you mentioned, I was fortunate enough to collaborate with an array of stunningly talented individuals and had the chance to learn something new daily from the cream of the crop in the industry.”
