Studio Pierrot has been actively shaping the tale of the Soul Society for “Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War”. Due to Studio Pierrot’s recent seasonal approach to anime, several series associated with them have taken a break for quite some time. Fortunately, significant updates have emerged concerning the most renowned anime ninjas ever. It appears that Studio Pierrot has given a nod towards continuing “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” in its second season, implying that Boruto, son of the Seventh Hokage, will re-enter the anime realm following his prolonged absence.
On Pierrot’s official site, the animation studio quietly announced exciting news about a new season, hinting at it on the franchise page with the statement, “We’ve confirmed a second part.” Although the current story arc in the manga is titled “Boruto: Two Blue Vortex“, there are several significant events left to unfold in the series “Naruto Next Generations” before the anime catches up. Regrettably, a release date for this upcoming season, or the four long-awaited episodes of the original “Naruto” series that Pierrot previously confirmed, has not yet been disclosed. It’s expected that more details will emerge once the fourth and final set of episodes for “Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War” are released.
What Will Boruto Season 2 Cover?
Previously in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations (2023), Konoha was thriving. Though the Nine-Tailed Fox perished during the clash with Jigen from the Kara Organization, it’s unfortunate that Jigen himself didn’t meet his end until he faced Naruto, Boruto, and Kawaki. However, in a twist of events, Jigen’s apprentice, Code, is eager to continue his master’s mission and seek vengeance. As the anime resumes, it seems that Boruto, being the son of the Seventh Hokage, will encounter more troubles than just Code.
Prior to the break in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations,” it introduced some unique new members of the Kara Organization, unlike any we’ve encountered before. Eida and her brother Daemon possess powers that make them significant dangers to our heroes. When the anime resumes, prepare for significant advancements from these siblings. As we await the second season, it will be intriguing to see if this revival incorporates the current manga series, “Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.
Demon Slayer Changed It All
Pierrot’s shift in how they approach anime production can be attributed largely to “Demon Slayer,” as Studio Ufotable adopted a more seasonal approach for the Demon Slayer Corps. In a previous interview, Pierrot president Michiyuki Honma discussed this change: “I believe ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ was a pivotal moment in the anime industry. It was an exceptional piece that demanded considerable time and resources to produce, yet it resonated with audiences across various age groups when it was released. Seeing it, I felt we needed to revise our creative methods. Moreover, other studios were also releasing comparable high-quality productions, and in Japan, there was a TV landscape conducive to their viewing.
