Fuzzy Peas has officially been knocked out of the competition.
One of the greatest boxers of all time was eliminated during The Masked Singer‘s Feb. 19 episode.
Before the sports legend delivered a less-than-impressive act on Shrek Night, there was speculation about the famous individual hinting at his association with one of DreamWorks’ dearest animated characters.
In his pre-recorded message, Fuzzy Peas declared confidently, “If there’s anyone who can embody the charm of Shrek’s companion, Puss ‘n Boots, it’s me. We share a scrappy spirit, we’re ready for any fight, and let’s not forget, we’re quite charismatic too.
Fuzzy Peas’ personal life—and former bachelor lifestyle—then became the focus of his clues.
Ever since I’ve arrived, I’ve been captivating the hearts of many eda-mamas, the athlete went on to say. “I never thought I’d find someone to settle down with, but then I saw her face and everything shifted. Initially, I questioned if I was losing my charm, but as I gazed into her radiant smile and those stunning eyes, I felt something extraordinary: True love. She converted me into a romantic at heart. Now, I truly believe that everyone can discover their own happy ending.
However, following his stage appearance where he performed a cover of “I’m a Believer” by Smash Mouth from the film’s soundtrack, Fuzzy Peas unfortunately ended up at the bottom and was eliminated.
But before his unmasking, the judges made their final guesses about his true identity.
According to hints given in their packages, Rita Ora selected Cesar Millan, Ken Jeong opted for Pitbull. On the other hand, inspired by a Spain-related clue, Jenny McCarthy confidently chose Antonio Banderas, and Robin Thicke guessed John Leguizamo based on similar hints.
But all four were incorrect.
The person wearing the lush, vegetable-themed boxing suit was none other than Oscar De La Hoya, a three-time Olympic gold medalist and eleven-time world champion.
As I bid farewell to my dear fans, let me share with you the sheer joy I’ve experienced throughout this journey. Hiding behind the mask allowed me an unprecedented freedom – a chance to express myself authentically and revel in the fun! Truly, I relished every moment of it!
Besides Oscar, there’s an intriguing link between him and the Kardashian-Jenner clan. His daughter, Atiana De La Hoya (who he has with Shanna Moakler), is actually the stepdaughter of Travis Barker.
After Travis married Kourtney Kardashian in 2022, Atiana has been incorporated into their combined family. Kourtney affectionately refers to the 25-year-old as an extra child in her family, alongside Travis and Shanna’s kids, Landon (age 21) and Alabama (age 19).

The Masked Singer airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on Fox.
On the first episode, the humorous and sugary personality, later unveiled as famous comedian Cedric the Entertainer, was eliminated.
The lush greenery turned out to be none other than boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya, who was disqualified during the Shrek-themed event.
