Brassic star teases “really intense” season 6 finale: ‘It’s going to be a big shock’

As a seasoned viewer of British comedies and dramas, I must say that Brassic has always been a rollercoaster ride of unpredictability, but the finale of Season 6 has truly outdone itself! The sheer intensity of the ending left me utterly astounded, and I’m not just saying that because I’ve seen my fair share of plot twists.

Without a doubt, Brassic is known for its unexpected twists, but one of its stars claims that the unpredictability level has been raised exceptionally high for the Season 6 finale, as compared to usual.

Parth Thakerar, who portrays JJ, commented, ‘When I reached the finale, it took my breath away – it was incredibly intense for Brassic.’ He added, ‘I believe the ending will come as a massive surprise this season for all viewers.’

He went on to say that while the Sky comedy “usually always ends on a cliffhanger”, he’s completely none the wiser about what could happen in season 7, which was confirmed back in June.

He continued by saying, “I’m just as clueless as you about what the next season will bring.” He went on to explain that it was a significant decision made collectively by Danny Brocklehurst, Joe Gilgun, and the entire team.

His co-star Joanna Higson, who plays Sugar, echoed those comments.

This is the first time the series concludes with such an overwhelming response as “Oh my God.” It’s truly mind-boggling and leaves one questioning what could possibly come next.

It’s often evident when a storyline is crafted with the following part in mind, making you say something like ‘Ah, I see what they did there.’ However, this one takes you by surprise and stimulates your thoughts.

Thakerar stated that the seismic event isn’t only affecting Erin (Michelle Keegan) and Vinnie (Gilgun); rather, it concerns everyone.

In its entirety, you can now stream Season 6, which carries on from where the intense Season 5 finale left off, following the characters’ journey further.

The official summary states, “Right now they are working to regain control over their lives, but the situation has taken a turn for the new.

As people age, the concept of maturing or becoming more responsible seems to be increasingly relevant. However, for this group, it’s worth pondering, what exactly does ‘growing up’ entail?

And there’s certainly no shortage of other, more outlandish hurdles, from man-eating crocodiles to naked cults.

As you were…

The MacDonaghs are still reveling in their newly discovered strength and continue to stir up more issues. Meanwhile, Vinnie and Erin experiment with a fresh approach in their relationship, which involves letting go, and everyone else encounters difficulties unique to them.

The sixth season of Brassic made its debut on Sky Max and NOW on Thursday, 26th September. You can stream all the episodes whenever you want! Learn more about the process of subscribing to Sky TV to catch up on this show.
