In a unique conversation with Francesca Amiker from TopMob News, the star of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody shared an insightful perspective: “Even when you think you know your partner thoroughly, having children marks a new chapter in your relationship. This is because you encounter circumstances that you’ve never experienced before.” Essentially, he emphasized, “You are not just two individuals anymore; you’re jointly shaping the lives of tiny humans. It boils down to the fundamental question of who you both truly are and how well you connect.

Song conceded that it’s not hard to see why couples might split up when they have young kids, as it’s a particularly stressful period in their lives.

In a similar vein as the character from Home Alone, Song expressed gratitude that when they had children, rather than experiencing the trials and tribulations themselves, they did encounter them but it made their bond stronger. He added, “I am truly blessed to have someone who comprehends me on such an extraordinary level, unlike anyone else.

The 37-year-old acknowledged, “I wasn’t anticipating this, as my habitual type A nature usually handles everything.” However, “Mac excels at tasks I wasn’t aware were necessary and even our children needed. I often say he’s the ‘white glue’ that keeps us all united.

At 6 a.m., the 44-year-old often prepares oatmeal and performs various tasks without being asked, which shows his dedication to the family. This is particularly meaningful because I’m aware that not everyone always does this.

In the midst of a worldwide pandemic that required everyone to stay home while balancing work and parenthood, Song expressed, “It’s incredibly tough,” but added, “I consider myself extremely fortunate to have found someone who truly understands me in an exceptional way.

In other words, when the actress (who is currently starring in Netflix’s sports comedy Running Point) has an early morning call, Song said that he takes the morning shift. This means preparing the children’s lunches, ensuring their backpacks are ready so he can get the kids ready for school. It’s essentially about sharing responsibilities and working efficiently.

And her partner of eight years is just one of Song’s secret parenting weapons. 

Although they both take pleasure in preparing meals themselves, they often find themselves ordering food through delivery services like DoorDash, as she candidly admitted. On occasion, she’s also been spotted using DoorDash to purchase makeup from Sephora when she forgets some essential items for her work trips.

She eagerly seized the opportunity to collaborate with the delivery service for their Mother’s Day campaign, where customers can earn credits by ordering flowers for their mom between May 9th and 11th.

Song enthusiastically shared her reliance on the app, stating, “It’s like having an extra pair of helpful hands,” which she uses excessively. With the holiday offer, she suggested ordering flowers for Mom through DoorDash, and you could receive up to $75 credit that can be applied towards a meal, activity, or self-care treat for Mom. She expressed, “What a thoughtful touch it adds!

To Culkin, here’s a reminder: “If no one sends me flowers via DoorDash on Mother’s Day, I might get really disappointed,” I want to emphasize. “I plan to do it for my own sake.

Not that she has any doubts about her boys treating her to the suite life she deserves. 

To put it simply, she often expresses concern that her sons seem to be speeding through life at an astonishing pace, confirming the old saying that time truly does fly by swiftly.

In simple terms, Song expressed that despite spending approximately 24 hours with his children, he still feels the time is insufficient. He adds that no matter the amount of time spent with children, it will always seem inadequate.

As her sons have moved past diapers and started expressing their thoughts on various topics, Song finds herself reflecting, “My boys are growing up all too fast.” She feels as though each passing week brings a fresh accomplishment.
