Brian Austin Green wasn’t going to give this allegation any air.
Five years after their breakup in 2020, the former “Beverly Hills, 90210” star explained why he decided not to respond to speculations that he had “groomed” Megan Fox, even though his current fiancée, Sharna Burgess, encountered news about it when they started dating.
On the Oldish podcast on May 5th, Brian clarified that once he defends himself just this one time, it might not stop. He implied that he may need to continue defending himself indefinitely, as people tend to accept what they choose to believe.
Sharna, who’s mom to her 2-year-old son Zane, confessed she had privately requested Brian to openly address the accusations. However, Brian seemed to believe that “only time can govern such matters.
The 51-year-old individual, who has children Noah (age 12), Bodhi (age 11), and Journey (age 8) with Megan, realized that the speculations circulating on the internet were quite different from reality.
He mused over the fact that others were spending more time observing him in a different light. This led them to question things and remark, ‘For all these five years, we’ve never witnessed him being domineering nor have we heard anything like that from anyone else.’
As he put it, “To me, it’s like the long game of it all.”
TopMob News has reached out to reps for Megan but has not heard back.
His split from Megan, who recently had a child with ex-partner Machine Gun Kelly in March, isn’t an isolated incident. Brian has also chosen to keep silent about his 2003 separation from ex-partner Vanessa Marcil, with whom he has a 21-year-old son named Kassius.
He remarked that he shared the same feelings towards Vanessa, stating instead, ‘I’ll keep quiet for now.’
Despite everything, Brian acknowledged that the idea of marriage and starting a family so early in Megan’s life, who is currently 38, must have been “overwhelming” for her. In fact, he remembered her expressing to him that she felt like she had “missed out” on certain aspects of life when she decided to divorce.
As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: “When she came to that revelation, it prompted her hasty exit, which, in turn, proved challenging for me. Though I grasped the situation, it didn’t diminish its difficulty. It’s like being hit with a brick—it stings, and it caught me off guard.
For a span of fifteen years, Brian and Megan were together in a relationship. However, they ended up parting ways in 2021 through a divorce. Let’s reminisce about all the memorable moments they shared…
The dashing pair met on the set of Hope & Faith in 2004.
In an interview with The New York Times Magazine back in 2009, he admitted that he wasn’t familiar with the character from 90210, but he instantly took a liking to him. One day, during a scene viewing, Brian accidentally brushed his leg. He recalled feeling an intense surge of electricity coursing through him in all directions, as if by magic.
In the 2008 movie “How to Lose Friends and Alienate People,” which was produced by Fox, Green has a brief but notable role (however, he is not shown on screen).
2006 saw the reported engagement between Fox and Green. However, by February 2009, whispers arose that they had postponed or cancelled their wedding plans.
Although, Fox and Green were spotted looking very much in love shortly after the breakup rumors.
Back in June 2009, Fox made it clear that she was single by telling The Sun newspaper.
Their separation was brief. In June 2010, Green once more suggested marriage to Fox during their Hawaiian holiday.
In just a few short weeks following Green’s proposal, they exchanged vows in a secluded wedding at the Four Seasons Hawaii.
Not long after their wedding ceremony, the newly-married couple embarked on a charming getaway to Disney World, Florida, for a love-filled holiday.
During an interview with Details magazine in 2011, Shia LaBeouf, who starred alongside Fox in the Transformers movie, suggested that they developed a special bond during the making of their hit film.
He shared that for six months, they were both working together, and there was an evident desire from both sides to develop feelings for each other. Reflecting on this, he stated, “I’ve always found it challenging to keep work and personal life separate in such situations. However, the time I spent with Megan was unique, and our connection is evident in our on-screen chemistry.
In spite of Shia LaBeouf’s public disclosures, the couple appeared to be as solid as they ever were. They attended an L.A. Lakers basketball game together in December 2011, and even discussed the possibility of renewing their marriage vows.
2012 saw TopMob News being the first to announce the actress’ pregnancy. Later in the same year, Green and Fox became parents for the first time, welcoming their son, Noah Shannon Green, into their family.
In 2014, Fox and Green expanded their family with another son, named Bodhi. The couple were quite private and seldom showed pictures of their sons, yet during an episode on “Ellen,” the public briefly caught a glimpse of both Noah and Bodhi.
2015 saw Fox initiating a divorce proceeding from Green. She attributed the separation to “insurmountable disagreements.
2016 saw TopMob News report that Fox was anticipating her third baby with Green. By the end of the year, they had welcomed their son named Journey River Green into their family. A source shared with TopMob News that the couple didn’t seem to be planning a divorce in the near future.
Back in 2018, Vanessa Marcil made allegations towards her former partner, Brian Austin Green, concerning their son, Kassius. According to Marcil, Fox and Green had chosen to sever all connections with Kassius. Neither Green nor Fox issued any public statements regarding Marcil’s accusations.
In 2019, the divorce proceedings initiated by Fox were formally dropped, marking a significant milestone. Five years later, they graced a red carpet together for the first time since then.
In April 2020, there were rumors swirling that Green and his wife were having issues when he was seen without his wedding ring. Additionally, a source disclosed to TopMob News that they had been living apart. Later in May, pictures emerged of Fox spending time with Machine Gun Kelly. Green himself admitted that he and Fox are attempting to separate for now. He also mentioned that Fox and the rapper are just friends.
