Brian Austin Green thought he was Megan Fox’s twin flame. 

Five years since my split with the star of Jennifer’s Body (we have four wonderful kids: Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 8), I find myself reminiscing about embarking on a high-profile relationship with Machine Gun Kelly, which began only a few months after our separation in 2020. (Written from my perspective)

Brian confessed, in an interview for the Oldish podcast on May 5th, that their relationship was swiftly progressing. He shared his feelings of being heartbroken as Megan expressed her desire for a divorce. He further explained that their conversation about divorce suddenly changed to Megan referring to him as her “twin flame” and stating she had “manifested” him.

Despite being bedridden due to ulcerative colitis during a challenging period in his life following a divorce, the 51-year-old found that these health struggles actually provided him with the strength to endure and move forward.

Brian remembered saying, ‘Given everything that had happened to me at that time, including my health issues, Machine Gun Kelly, and all the chaos, I was in a mindset where I thought, ‘I can handle this.’ It won’t break me, because the other things could have taken my life. I’ll survive this.’

He acknowledged that it was incredibly challenging to witness Megan and MGK, who parted ways in December, only a few months prior to the arrival of their first child, sharing such a close bond.

As he recalled, “I had absolute moments of jealousy and all the normal things you go through.”

The actress who was part of “Desperate Housewives” (previously in her role), and who has a 21-year-old son named Kassius with ex Vanessa Marcil and a 2-year-old son Zane with fiancée Sharna Burgess, couldn’t hold Megan accountable for the situation at that time, as she was heartbroken regardless.

He acknowledged that he felt fondly towards her. He didn’t wish to speak negatively about her, even in a difficult circumstance. Despite everything, he desired her well-being sincerely, and he realized that some feelings can coexist.

Eventually, it became clear to Brian, who finalized his divorce from the Transformers star in 2021, that Megan, aged 38, found herself drawn into a rapid-paced relationship with the “Bad Things” rapper for reasons he could comprehend.

He clarified that she matured too quickly, finding herself longing for the carefree days of youth. At around eighteen, she found herself in a situation akin to parenthood with a man who already had a two-year-old child, instantly forming a familial bond.

Indeed, Brian said that from his perspective, Megan and MGK, 35, made sense.

For the very first time, the duo graced the red carpet at the American Music Awards. Interestingly, the following month saw the actress filing for divorce from her separated spouse, Brian Austin Green, who is also the father of their three boys.

2022 ushered in a change in relationship status for Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly! They announced their engagement on January 12th via Instagram, with MGK posting, “Yes, in this lifetime and every lifetime.

At the yearly Casamigos Halloween event, the pair donned costumes reminiscent of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee.

The two embraced on the red carpet on music’s biggest night.

At the debut of “The 8th Deadly Sin – Gossip,” a unique ring collection collaboration between MGK and Stephen Webster, Megan lent her backing in London.

The two also partied at Vas Morgan and Michael Braun‘s Halloween party.

The two appeared at the annual Casamigos Halloween party.

The actress confirmed that she and MGK had at one point called off their engagement.

She shared on the Call Her Daddy podcast that she’s discovered her current relationship isn’t meant to be shared with the public. Consequently, she doesn’t feel comfortable disclosing any details about its current state.

She went on to explain, “I call him my ‘twin spirit,’ and there’s an unbreakable bond between us regardless of the circumstances.

The pair announced on Instagram that they were about to welcome a new addition to their family, as Megan posted a picture of herself, painted black and displaying her baby bump, with the caption, “Nothing is truly gone forever. Welcome back.

She also included a picture of a pregnancy test with the word, “Yes.”

 

On December 10th, just after verifying Megan’s pregnancy, it was reported by several sources that the pair decided to part ways in late November.

On March 27, 2025, the pair happily welcomed their newborn daughter. As shared by MGK, Megan delivered their child while listening to a unique composition that he and his friend Travis Barker had created together.

“What an epic journey,” he wrote on his Instagram Story. “Praise God.”
