Brianna LaPaglia’s Bold Shift: Will She Date Only Women After Zach Bryan?

Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia isn’t limiting herself when it comes to dating.

Following the podcast host, who identifies as bisexual, disclosing her thoughts about dating only women after a difficult breakup with Zach Bryan in October, there was an influx of potential dates reaching out to her via direct messages.

In an interview with Elite Daily published March 5, Brianna admitted, “It turns out there were some well-known women reaching out to me, and I was taken aback, saying something like, ‘Really? I had no idea you were gay.'” She confessed she feels as though she’s playing catch-up, finding it rather daunting. After all, she’s 25 years old and about to embark on her first date with a woman, while many in New York have been dating women for quite some time already.

Following her remarks during the January episode of her podcast where she mentioned that people are labeling her as a lesbian and that she’s open to it, hinting at past experiences with women, she received an influx of messages.

As I pondered over my romantic past, I mused, “Perhaps I truly am a lesbian at heart, which could explain why all my relationships with men haven’t succeeded.” Yet, I remain uncertain. Only time will reveal the truth. – Brianna

Indeed, Brianna is still working through her breakup from the country singer in therapy.

She remarked, “It’s barely been four months, but I’m still struggling a lot and dealing with PTSD. So, I can’t predict exactly when things will get better.

At around age 25, everyone seems to experience a significant change in their lives, whether it’s a major event or not. It’s almost like realizing, ‘Wow, I’m truly embarking on the path of self-discovery.’ If you don’t take time for introspection and decide who you want to be, then things might not turn out as you hope.

She pointed out that she had been with someone who was her most vehement critic, yet she was their strongest supporter. Therefore, she wanted the same level of admiration in return.

Reflecting on the 12-month journey with Zach that concluded in October, Brianna highlighted their fundamental dynamics as a trait she prefers not to encounter in her upcoming relationships.

She mentioned that she was surprisingly supporting someone who had been her greatest critic, and they were her most ardent supporter in return. Therefore, she hoped the sentiment would be returned to her as well.

And she also isn’t looking to date someone famous again.

Brianna expressed her desire for someone who can share a good laugh with her, as well as someone who comprehends her life, though they don’t necessarily have to be going through the exact same experiences.

Rumors swirled about a possible breakup as people on the Internet noticed fewer shared posts between Zach Bryan and Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia than usual, and many of these commenters openly voiced their speculations.

Last week, oh boy, was quite a rollercoaster! On the Oct. 2nd episode of Barstool Sports’ BFFs podcast, I confessed to the hosts, Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards, about the turbulent times. The rumors swirling around our split had everyone talking, but let me tell you, it was just a temporary hiccup.

You see, my partner has been dealing with some heavy personal matters, which required us to take a break from sharing posts for a while. This brief absence set the internet abuzz, but fear not! We’re back together now, and things are better than ever.

At the same time, Zach had found himself on Dave’s list of misdeeds due to a joke about Taylor Swift (which he later apologized for). However, given that he was dating Brianna, the founder of Barstool Sports and an ardent fan of Taylor Swift (who refers to herself as “King of the Swifties”), Dave gave Zach a free pass on this occasion.

Before the public discovery of Brianna and Zach’s breakup, she cautioned against dating celebrities in an interview on Hayleigh Welch’s Talk Tuah podcast.

On the podcast episode released on October 22, Brianna mentioned, “I expressed on the BFFs [podcast] that I would never date anyone famous. However, unexpectedly, it turned out that way.

Brianna confessed that she was unsure about the reason for her change, but went on to say, “I find myself wishing… I didn’t date famous individuals.

In summary, she expressed her opinion that avoiding relationships with famous individuals is beneficial for one’s mental well-being, as it can be quite overwhelming.

On October 21st, Brianna posted a picture on Instagram of a heartfelt, handwritten letter expressing deep emotions.

Ultimately, you’ll discover that life carries on, regardless of your wishes: Days slip by and the world advances, even as you plead for it to stand still.”

“You may feel resentful towards life for its persistence when you are rooted in place. You might find yourself blaming others or specific moments for your immobility. But there will be a day when you awaken to understand that life moves forward, not because it’s cruel but because it’s resilient. That same day, the world may subtly show you that, just like it, you too can keep going.

All was revealed the next day.

Approximately one hour after Zach posted his Instagram Story on October 22nd, Brianna responded with her own post: “I feel completely taken aback at the moment,” she shared. “I plan to take a break from social media for a while and try to heal in private. Once I’m ready, I will return and be prepared to discuss things.

She expressed, “I adore each one of you immensely, and I appreciate every heartfelt message you’ve shared with me. Just remember that you are deeply cherished, and things will always find a way to work out for the best.

Prior to starting her personal healing process, Brianna shared in a YouTube video dated October 22 (which she recorded from what she referred to as her bathroom floor) that she had been crying continuously for about five days when she saw Zach’s post and the fallout that followed.

Completely caught off guard, I exclaimed, ‘I had no clue that post was going live!’ He hadn’t reached out via text or call. Instead, I found myself stirring awake to a barrage of messages asking, ‘Are you alright?’ My first thought, honestly, was, ‘Did my dad finally kick the bucket?’

She emphasized again that she felt caught off guard, and went on to say, “It’s bewildering to pour all your energy into another person only to be cast aside so swiftly. It’s truly heart-wrenching.

Brianna mentioned that she hadn’t been prepared to discuss the matter just yet, but she would eventually. She then revealed, “We parted ways the day before yesterday,” implying that her personal feelings were still raw and she desired privacy in dealing with it personally before making any public announcements.

All she wanted at the moment, she said, was to “just be hurt for a week and lay in bed.”

After she publicly discussed their split, Dave posted a link to Taylor’s song “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” on YouTube, dedicating it to Brianna.

A friend of hers shared that image on Brianna’s Instagram Story on the 24th of October, with the caption “(Brianna away from social media but gave me permission for this) she will return on Wednesday to catch up with her best friends. Currently, she is spending time with family and friends. I have been saving some of your thoughtful messages and sending them to her. She appreciates you.”

This version maintains the essential information while using more straightforward, everyday language that should be easy for most readers to understand.

Clarifying rumors suggesting a disagreement between her and podcast co-host Grace O’Malley from “PlanB Uncut” due to her not posting a birthday message for Grace on social media, Brianna took to Instagram Stories on October 30th to clear up the misunderstanding.

Brianna wrote, “I’m going to stop letting the internet control my personal connections from now on.” She added, “I need to establish some limits and keep certain matters private.

In another message, she expressed that she no longer wishes to disclose her personal relationships on the internet as it tends to cause harm, and mentioned that Grace has been more like a sister to her since they were both 15 years old; she sent her a private birthday wish.

Best friends Dave and Josh discovered an innovative means to express their annoyances, unveiling a critique song they titled “The Tiniest One.

The tune uploaded to YouTube on November 6 starts with the line, “I urged you to trust me, it seems your reputation is in question,” referring to dating apps such as Tinder, Bumble, and Raya. “It appears you’ve been dishonest all along / You’re a deceitful person, creating fresh competition / Before long, you may require some form of rejuvenation.

At first, the track was stopped due to copyright claims made by Warner Music Group. Later on, the same day, it reappeared.

On X, Dave expressed his observation about a short-term issue: “Zach Bryan and Warner Music seem to have inept crisis managers. Scrambling frantically to remove ‘#smallestman’ from the web, it appears they forgot I run an internet business. They’ve essentially guaranteed this issue will reach #1.

On November 5th, they both playfully shared a post about the track on Instagram, but when someone criticized them for not having the courage to tag Zach, Brianna stepped in and responded, “We’re all blocked from him.

Following what appeared like ignoring all conversations originating from Brianna’s side, Zach opted for November 7th as the day to unveil his song titled “High Road” and share an update about it.

A while ago, he paid a visit to his mother’s grave for the first time in over a year. He shared this on Instagram and mentioned that he was currently in Tulsa.

He explained that he had stopped touring due to being accepted into a master’s program in Paris for the following year. He also shared that he was now back in Oklahoma, reminiscing about his friends in New York, the nights they spent howling at the moon, the endless laughter they shared, the bond with his band over the past five years, the calluses on his fingers, every tear he shed, being featured in The Rolling Stone, and most significantly, spending time on the porch swing with his lovely sister.

He mentioned, “I penned the chorus for this song a couple of weeks ago and completed it when I recognized how fortunate I was to possess all these things. I felt it was past due to share it with everyone. Thank you for listening to ‘This Worlds a Giant’ last night, and gratitude to those who support me; they have shared my burden with me. It appears that these Quiet Dreams have grown too burdensome, but now I’m back, and I’ll be there for you through the hardship.

Brianna has alleged that her relationship with Zach was emotionally abusive.

She shared with Dave and Josh during the November 7th episode of BFFs that the past year has been the most challenging of her life. She’s still feeling the fear from the abuse she’s endured from someone.

The 25-year-old said her brain had been “rewired” from being afraid to make her ex mad.

Brianna went on, “He convinced me it was all my fault and cut me off from every aspect of my life. He didn’t allow me to express myself as I desired. In the end, he made me despise the very things I cherished about myself.

Zach had “love bombed her,” she said, and she ignored multiple red flags.

Following nearly four uneventful months, she mentioned that he gradually eroded her strength until she felt as though he was the only one remaining in her life. He persistently wore her down, causing repeated emotional damage.

Additionally, Brianna claimed during the show that Zach’s team proposed a deal worth $12 million for her to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement, thereby keeping quiet about their romantic involvement.

Brianna mentioned that she wasn’t refusing the money because it brought back memories of her ex, but also clarified that she wasn’t accepting it merely so they could reveal their secrets freely.

Instead, Brianna expressed, “I won’t give up the lessons I learned from my ordeals for the sake of someone who caused me harm.

TopMob News reached out to Zach for comment but has not heard back.

After wrapping up the recording session, I penned down my thoughts on X: “Tonight’s episode showcased Bri in such a powerful light that I believe it would be hard for anyone not to admire her deeply now.

On November 7, Brianna posted on her Instagram Story, “I knew I had made the correct choice,” she wrote. “I also think holding back a bit and not revealing every detail was the wise choice as well. I hope my message is clear to you.

She went on to say, “Your messages have moved me to tears. It’s astonishing to find that so many others have faced the same kind of mistreatment as I have. Know that I am here for you, standing as a voice for all of us moving forward. If you can muster the courage to challenge someone in authority, surely you can confront the bully from your own town. These events are still fresh, so I’m taking time to work through everything that happened. I will continue to heal and grow with each of you! I love you, I love you, I love you.

Later on, I was absolutely thrilled when she posted a video captured by a fan at one of Barstool’s Chicks in the Office: Little Fall Getaway Tour shows, during her live rendition of “Smallest Man”. She emphasized the lyrics, “What a lucky girl Bri is, free from ZB,” which I couldn’t help but resonate with!

Brianna denied that Dave offered her $10 million to spill her guts on the BFFs pod for…clicks?

In a TikTok video posted on November 9th, she stated, “Dave didn’t provide me with any money.” She then added, “You thought that was a tell-all? I chose the high road. Instead of telling you directly, I created a scene, painted a picture for you, and if you can’t understand that vivid image, I’m not going to babysit and guide you to LensCrafters.” She concluded with an apology.

Additionally, she explained, “I’m currently spending money. I have expenses for storage, moving costs, and airfare for frequent trips to New York to search for an apartment.

Pointing to the tattoo on her arm that reads “How lucky are we,” a lyric from Zach’s song “28,” she asserted confidently, “I got that myself, it was my own choice. Now that we have matching tattoos, I don’t mind, I won’t be getting rid of it.

Zach remains silent regarding Brianna’s accusations of emotional abuse in the public domain, and she speculates about the reasons for his lack of response. Notably, he has been posting content unrelated to the issue on social media, which may hint at subconscious inspiration. Additionally, his comments section is currently disabled.

She stated on the Nov. 13 episode of BFFs that if he responds at all, it must be a denial, so her plan is to share all the videos and recordings if that’s the case.

She went on to say, “The lack of response speaks volumes,” and added, “I believe this lack of reply further reveals his true nature.

Brianna added, “She might’ve accidentally spilled even more tea at that moment, but she was giving Zach a chance to admit his mistakes instead.

She stated, “I don’t think people are beyond redemption.” This was her last plea for assistance, hoping to make him realize the harm he causes others and encouraging him to seek help.

Dave has heard enough.

When discussing his departure from BFFs during a November 14 episode of The Unnamed Show, the 47-year-old stated, “I have no interest in the subjects they present. They give me topics when I arrive, and I’m not prepared, merely criticizing 18-year-olds whom I don’t know. Frankly, I don’t enjoy that.

Despite this, it’s evident when he takes pleasure in criticizing someone, and for now, his chats with Brianna and Josh continue to be lively and spirited.

Although there are moments when it’s obvious he enjoys picking on others, his conversations with Brianna and Josh, at present, remain vibrant and jovial.

He mentioned that Josh and Bri will carry on with it. It’s extremely prosperous, yet indeed, I feel it’s my turn to explore something new. I believe I have exhausted all possibilities with it.

Brianna revealed that she declined an offer from her famous admirer, as she was already in a relationship with someone else who had proposed marriage to her, all the while being unfaithful.

An interesting tidbit: My biggest celebrity crush reached out to me just a few months ago, as seen in my Nov. 15 TikTok where I lip-synced to Cardi B’s ‘Be Careful.’ However, I politely declined since I was already in a relationship, unfortunately discovering later that I was being unfaithfully treated.

In her comments, Brianna mentioned, “I discovered all along that he was unfaithful, isn’t that funny? The very week he presented me with an engagement ring, he was sending messages to other women, ha-ha-ha.

Brianna titled a November 17 TikTok video, “Occasionally, just a New York sunrise and some great friends will do the trick.” The clip showed her and her companions (including one of the Australian males mentioned the previous day) enjoying the sunrise in Brooklyn, accompanied by Taylor Swift’s “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” as background music.

She mentioned in a recent TikTok on Nov 17 that after a tough stretch of apartment-hunting in NYC, she had good news: “I was accepted,” she said about her outing with an Australian friend. “We celebrated afterwards. It was enjoyable. We visited Central Park and had drinks, then more friends joined us.

When someone from the local community complimented, “That happened quickly,” Brianna retorted, “Indeed, I had an entire relationship stolen from me, so yes.

Gosh, y’all! Am I destined to be single forever? That’s the question sparked by recent rumors about my love life, but let me set the record straight. I’m currently diving deep into some intense personal growth through therapy.” (Brianna, Nov 18th video)

Regarding the Australian lad, she went on, “In my previous video, I mentioned that I was spending time with a man who’s returning to Australia, meaning we won’t meet again. Is it wrong for me to enjoy some moments, perhaps sharing a sweet kiss or two?

And for now, Brianna—fresh from lightening her locks—is turning the tables.

She pondered on TikTok in November, expressing that she’s single for the first time, both in her entire life and as an adult. This is a unique experience for her. She added that she’s found herself winning over people’s affections only to disappear afterwards. In simpler terms, she’s been dating and then vanishing from their lives.

On January 9th, Zach posted a series of stories on Instagram, expressing that his friends were being criticized and insulted by armchair critics (often referred to as “couch warriors”).

He went on to say, “I’m not seeking pity, but the situation with my friends is just terrible and unfair. I value my life deeply, which I’ve worked incredibly hard for, regardless of your opinions about me. Whether you think I’m worthy or not, please stop digging into the lives of my friends online.

Despite not directly addressing Briana’s claims regarding their relationship, the “Something in the Orange” artist expressed being “remarkably unfazed by the false rumors people spread about me online.

In a post, Zach stated, “I am here for the ones I cherish and value, and this is my ultimatum for my online critics. I have expressed myself fully. My spirit remains strong, and my head holds its ground.
