Bridgerton Star Confirms Return for Season 4

As a long-time Bridgerton enthusiast who has binged the series multiple times and eagerly awaited each new season, I couldn’t help but jump for joy upon hearing that Viscount Anthony Bridgerton himself, Jonathan Bailey, will be returning for Season 4. It’s not every day that one gets to witness such a delightful Regency-era romance unfold on the small screen, and with each new season, I find myself falling more in love with this captivating world.

Delighted Bridgerton enthusiasts! Rest easy, Viscount Anthony Bridgerton won’t be leaving us soon. In a chat on Good Morning America, Jonathan Bailey shared that he’ll once again step into his character’s shoes for the fourth season of the popular Netflix show. Bailey mentioned he managed to carve out some time in his schedule to rejoin the series and is eagerly awaiting the scripts. He also hinted at what’s ahead, stating that Bridgerton will continue to unfold the stories it has set in motion.

Bailey mentioned that he’s got some time scheduled for his upcoming return, and he’s excited to go over the scripts when he gets back.

Bailey went on to say, “We’ll delve into the narratives now, and here’s why Bridgerton stands out: it showcases various paths one can take to experience love, a theme this series will unravel. Given that I’m the eldest, I’ll be there to guide the younger ones as we proceed through these stories.”

Bridgerton Season 4 Will Follow Benedict Bridgerton’s Love Story

Previously, Netflix announced that the focus of Season 4 for the popular show “Bridgerton” will be on Luke Thompson’s character, Benedict Bridgerton. The conclusion of Season 3 subtly hinted at Benedict taking center stage in Season 4, alluding to the significant masquerade ball which plays a crucial role in the third novel, “An Offer For A Gentleman,” that chronicles Benedict and Sophie’s love tale.

It appears that Yerin Ha, known for her role in Halo, has been selected to portray Sophie Beckett in the upcoming fourth season of the series, as reported by Variety.

Fans May Have a Long Wait for Bridgerton Season 4

Despite the ongoing enthusiasm for Bridgerton, viewers might need to exercise some patience as they await Benedict and Sophie’s tale. Showrunner Jess Bronwell hinted at a potential wait of up to a year and a half, or even longer, before Season 4 graces our screens.

Brownell shared that he is extremely enthusiastic about the writing they are doing. As the writers room season draws near, they are wrapping up scripts, and he believes this work represents some of his and the team’s finest creations. The collaboration has been seamless, and everyone is working at their peak, so he can hardly wait for fans to witness what they’ve produced.

Bridgerton is now streaming on Netflix.
