Bryan Danielson Faces “Heavy Restrictions” Before AEW ALL IN: London

Bryan Danielson Faces "Heavy Restrictions" Before AEW ALL IN: London

As a dedicated fan of professional wrestling and specifically, Bryan Danielson, I have been following his incredible journey in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) with bated breath. Danielson, also known as “The American Dragon,” is a living legend in the world of grappling entertainment, having built an impressive resume over the years with numerous accolades and unforgettable matches under his belt.

I’ve had two opportunities so far to challenge for the AEW World Championship, both times against the current champion. The first one was during AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam 2021 in a non-title bout against Kenny Omega. We went head-to-head for an entire 30 minutes, but neither of us could secure the victory, resulting in a draw.

In September 2022, Danielson faced off against Jon Moxley in the finals of a tournament to determine the new AEW World Champion since CM Punk had to give up the title. However, Danielson came up short in his bid for victory. More recently, Danielson took on then-champion MJF at AEW Revolution in an Iron Man match that lasted for 60 minutes. Unfortunately, MJF emerged victorious with a score of 4-3 during the overtime period.

Bryan Danielson Has “Heavy Restrictions” Going Into ALL IN

According to Fightful Select, Bryan Danielson faces “significant limitations set by AEW doctors” before his upcoming match against Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship at AEW ALL IN: London. The highly-anticipated bout between Danielson and Strickland has been in the works “for a while,” and AEW is determined to keep Danielson healthy for this main event. Consequently, Danielson has been kept away from certain activities that were initially planned leading up to the show.

I’m thrilled to be going up against Bryan at AEW ALL IN: London. He’s not just seasoned, but in a league of his own, a true first-ballot Hall of Famer. No one has ever challenged him quite like I will. And he’s never met an opponent quite like me.

Since April, Swerve has been the AEW World Champion after defeating Samoa Joe at AEW Dynasty. He has successfully defended the title against Claudio Castagnoli, Christian Cage, Roderick Strong, and Will Ospreay since then. This year’s AEW ALL IN: London marks a significant rise in Swerve’s status as he and Christian Cage lost in a midcard coffin match to Darby Allin and Sting during the previous event.

At AEW ALL IN: London on August 25th, Danielson will face off against Swerve for the AEW World Championship title.
