Bryan Danielson Files Trademark For WWE Catchphrase

Bryan Danielson Files Trademark For WWE Catchphrase

As a longtime wrestling fan and aficionado, I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia and excitement as I witness Bryan Danielson’s journey in All Elite Wrestling (AEW). The American Dragon has managed to capture the essence of his illustrious career, seamlessly blending elements from his independent days, WWE tenure, and now, his AEW run. However, one crucial aspect that has been conspicuously absent in his current stint – the iconic “Yes! Yes! Yes!” chants – has recently sparked a new development.

As a passionate fan, I’ve noticed that Bryan Danielson’s tenure in AEW has been a remarkable blend of his illustrious career. The reclaiming of his birth name and the resurgence of moves like the cattle mutilation and head kicks hark back to his indie wrestling days, while the “Ride of the Valkyries”-themed music echoes his WWE decade. However, one significant element from Danielson’s persona has been missing during his AEW stint: the iconic Yes! chants. Before stepping into AEW, Danielson made it clear that he would not be using the chant that catapulted him to the main event of WWE WrestleMania 30 out of respect for WWE’s intellectual property.

The American Dragon could be exclaiming Yes! again sooner than later.

Bryan Danielson has filed to trademark “Yes! Yes! Yes!” The full description can be read below…

1. As an enthusiast: I engage in thrilling wrestling bouts, create podcasts, offer live wrestling shows and performances, produce TV shows, manage media content (including videos, films, and audio), run a wrestling club, compose music, disseminate information on television, movie, audio, and radio production, and provide filming services for TV, video, and movies.

As a passionate fan, I’ve joined in the “Yes!” chants on several occasions, led by none other than Bryan Danielson himself! The first time was during the final stages of his epic 60-minute Iron Man match against MJF at AEW Revolution 2023. Then, three months later, I found myself chanting along with him as he faced Kazuchika Okada at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2023. It’s an electrifying moment every time!

Danielson shared at the Forbidden Door 2023 post-show press conference that tonight’s decision was spontaneous due to certain tasks he couldn’t perform as planned, hinting at his broken arm sustained during the match. With only one functional arm, he thought of a way to engage fans and jokingly said, “Ah, here’s an easy solution!” The MJF match was the chosen opportunity for this unique performance, and tonight was essential for him to participate in something special.

1. At the upcoming AEW ALL IN: London event next month, Danielson will attempt to dethrone Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship. With his wrestling contract ending this Thursday, the match at Wembley Stadium is expected to be his last as a full-time wrestler. It’s speculated that a trademark is being filed so Danielson can perform all of his signature moves during the AEW ALL IN: London show.
