Bunnie XO Shares Rollercoaster IVF Journey with Jelly Roll

Bunnie XO is focused on growing her family with Jelly Roll.

The host of the “Dumb Blonde” podcast, who’s been transparent about her quest for pregnancy, shared updates with her followers regarding her in-vitro fertilization treatment progress.

She mentioned in a recent TikTok post on March 4 that she’s currently undergoing In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) procedures, explaining, “I’m actually experiencing the hormones, the injections, and everything that comes with it.

For Bunnie, who is a stepmother to Bailee Ann (age 16) and Noah Buddy (age 8), children from Jelly Roll’s earlier relationships, the highs and lows of this medical process could result in an incredibly rewarding outcome if it proves successful.

She said, ‘I’m experiencing every emotion, ups and downs, anxiety – all for a tiny bit of my husband and myself.’ She added, ‘A small portion enclosed within a body, to complement our two lovely children we already share.’

Alyssa DeFord, professionally known as Bunnie, shared that she and her husband, the “Son of a Sinner” vocalist, who tied the knot in 2016, were commencing their fertility journey in June. The couple expressed a mix of feelings as they embarked on this new phase.

In a post on Instagram Stories, Bunnie expressed feelings of excitement and fear at the same time. She and J never anticipated expanding their family, but something shifted this year. Now, they both crave a shared part of themselves to enrich their existing family with Bailee and Noah.

For Jelly Roll, also known as Jason DeFord, the prospect of becoming a father brings about the need to adjust his lifestyle in order to fulfill his role as an exceptional parent.

He mentioned during a conversation on the “Bussin’ with the Boys” podcast that he and his partner were considering having a child. This thought made him think about his age, nearly 40, and realize that in order to witness their child grow up and potentially graduate from college, he needed to live until at least 60.

Ever since the birth of her son Sonny with husband Tim Rosenman in 2017, the former Hills alum has openly shared about the highs and lows of her fertility experience, including two of her own pregnancies ending unsuccessfully, as well as two miscarriages experienced by her surrogate.

In July 2024, Whitney confirmed she’s preparing for a second egg retrieval.

Following her disclosure that both she and Tim experienced two miscarriages with their surrogate and Whitney herself endured two pregnancy losses, Whitney revealed in July 2024 that she was planning a second round of egg collection.

In my own words, I can say, “I’m noticeably improved from my previous visit as I now have a better understanding of what’s coming. Plus, I have complete confidence and trust in the guidance of my healthcare provider.

Regardless of any twists or turns in their path towards expanding our family, I’ve made it abundantly clear that our little tribe of three is more than complete and filled with all the love we need.

In the midst of our second journey towards parenthood, I pen this heartfelt tribute to you on your 7th birthday in July 2024. You, dear Sonny, have made us feel whole, not just with your presence but also with your unique spirit. Watching you blossom has been a joyous experience, and we are profoundly thankful for the calmness that permeates through you.

The actress from “Everything Everywhere All At Once,” who tied the knot with Jean Todt in 2023 following a 19-year courtship, previously shared insights about the difficulties she faced while trying to have children with her first spouse, Dickson Poon.

During her podcast interview in November 2024, Michelle opened up about her long-held desire for parenthood. She underwent fertility treatments to help make this dream come true. However, she admitted that the most challenging part was dealing with the monthly struggles, which left her feeling disappointed and unsuccessful.

She added, “Eventually, you cease to hold self-blame. Sometimes, our bodies simply don’t work as expected. It’s just the nature of things. You need to release control and keep moving forward.

The musician, who has a son named Wilde with partner Maximillion Cooper, previously spoke about the tragic miscarriage she suffered during her time on the TV show ‘Eve’, as a result of an ectopic pregnancy.

In her memoir Who’s That Girl?, Eve explained that it was back in 2006 when she discovered she was expecting. This unexpected news required an emergency operation and a temporary halt in filming for two weeks. It’s unclear why she chose to mislead everyone on set about her appendix bursting, perhaps because she was also deceiving herself at the time.

She went on to say, “If I had to go through the heartache of losing my child, I wasn’t sure if two weeks would provide enough emotional recovery. However, that time proved barely sufficient for my physical healing, as I quickly returned to work. After the surgery, I had shed a significant amount of weight and my body felt extremely weak.

The star from “Selling Sunset,” who became a mother to her son Austin at the young age of 15, has openly discussed her and her partner Romain Bonnet’s experiences with fertility throughout their journey.

She told TopMob News in Sept. 2024 that she isn’t certain about the final result because they are just dealing with things as they come up. She’s currently swamped with her book project, the ongoing season, and various other tasks. So, if she’s stressed or rushed, nothing good will likely happen.

Besides having surgery to correct a septate uterus (where the uterus has a dividing membrane), Mary mentioned that she and Romain aren’t making hasty choices, and they’re content with their pet dog.

The real estate agent mentioned that they have a pet cat named Thor, whom Romaine is deeply fond of. If the deal doesn’t go through, Romaine has said he’ll manage because he has his beloved cat for company. He’s really smitten with him. So, regardless of what happens, things will work out as they should.

The NFL sports commentator and her spouse, Jarret Stoll, who became parents to Mack in July 2023, have experienced their share of highs and lows during their parenthood journey – such as coping with Erin’s cervical cancer diagnosis back in 2017.

After freezing her eggs prior to her cancer fight, she later used In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) to aid in conceiving a child. This personal journey she chose to openly discuss with the public.

She explained in her 2021 essay that she had grown weary of staying silent about her hardships. It was an arduous, agonizing journey for her, and she believes she became detached during most of it due to feeling like a machine on an unjust roller coaster ride where you often receive unfavorable news.

She expressed, “I’m an open communicator, and I can share honestly about the hardships we face and empathize with many couples and families who struggle with fertility issues.
