In a recent statement for the media, executive Julian Mautner explained that we needed some time to carefully consider what our fans desired most when it comes to their bus-riding experience.

Using Bus Bound, we aimed to create an enjoyable core experience by designing the feel of the bus and the player’s interaction with the city in a manner that is approachable for beginners yet stimulating for our dedicated followers.

The game transports you into the imaginary town of Emberville, offering an intricate open-world environment filled with connected weather patterns, traffic, crowds, and a realistic day and night cycle.

As you advance in the game, the city will adapt according to the transportation networks you establish. This means that as you uncover and enhance stations, businesses and industries will gradually appear in those areas, following the connections you create across the city.
