As a seasoned mountaineer with a heart full of adventure and fingers calloused from countless climbs, I can’t help but be intrigued by the latest offering from The Game Bakers – Cairn. Having scaled many a peak in real life, the demo for this survival climbing game has piqued my interest like no other digital mountain ever has.
The developers at The Game Bakers have made a time-limited trial version of the survival climbing game titled “Cairn” playable on PC through Steam. This demo will stay accessible until December 19.
The demonstration lasts approximately 45 minutes, where players get familiarized with the game’s climbing mechanics within an indoor gym setting. Only then do they take on the challenge of scaling their first mountain. Players have multiple paths and techniques at their disposal to reach the summit.
Cairn is due out for PC via Steam in 2025.
