As a dedicated gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must say that I found myself both excited and apprehensive about the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The anticipation was palpable, especially given the positive critical reception for its single-player campaign.
Last week saw the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and the initial critical response towards its single-player mode has predominantly been favorable. However, since its debut, this first-person shooter game appears to have garnered some negative feedback from certain groups of players.
Currently on Steam, the game in question is receiving a mixed response from users. Out of over 3,200 reviews, around 36% are negative. The negative feedback primarily focuses on the game’s complex and frustrating installation procedure. Other critics have pointed out technical glitches, optimization problems, server connection issues, and the game’s requirement to always be online, along with other concerns.
Simultaneously, many user reviews have a predominantly favorable outlook, commending aspects such as its single-player storyline, Zombies mode, and fluid movement system.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
