As a dedicated zombie-slaying, call of duty enthusiast with over a decade of gaming under my belt, I must say that the new beta for Black Ops 6 has been nothing short of exhilarating. The gameplay for Liberty Falls, the second round-based map, has truly piqued my interest.
Today marks the conclusion of the open beta for Activision’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, so multiplayer enthusiasts will need to hold off until release to satisfy their gaming cravings. In the interim, Zombies mode players can delve into some fresh gameplay from Liberty Falls, the second map in the round-based format. You can watch it here, compliments of IGN.
Initially, players begin with basic resources in the early rounds, following the typical pattern of zombie games. However, as time progresses, the situation intensifies, necessitating stronger weapons to have any chance of survival, particularly when Vermins, Armored Zombies, and the terrifying Abomination emerge on the scene.
Instead of having to reconfigure their weapon setup each time they enter a new map, players now have the option to carry over their preferred loadouts. This means that any attachments they’ve purchased will remain in place whether they get them from a wall or a Mystery Box. The Melee Macchiato is another intriguing addition, as it boosts the power of your melee attacks, making it easier to take down weaker zombies. And let’s not forget about the Pack-A-Punch Machine, which can be accessed once you reach the Dark Aether, for enhancing your weapons.
On October 25th, the new installation in the Call of Duty: Black Ops series, known as Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, will be available for play on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, and PC. For additional information about Augments and Gobblegums, you can click here.
