As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I must admit that the reveal trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has sent shivers down my spine and a familiar nostalgic rush coursing through my veins. The return of the RC-XD killstreak and Tomahawks is like reconnecting with old friends, reminding me of countless hours spent in virtual battlefields.
Before the launch of “Call of Duty” NEXT, Activision has unveiled a trailer showcasing the multiplayer aspect of “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6”. It’s packed with the slick slow-motion and explosions fans are accustomed to, and it also confirms the comeback of some favorite features. You can watch it below.
This list features the RC-XD killstreak, which is a remote-controlled bomb-laden car, and Tomahawks, a weapon that can be thrown, both of which were showcased in Black Ops Cold War. Additionally, we catch glimpses of the 16 fresh multiplayer maps, omnidirectional movement, and innovative mechanics like utilizing enemies as shields.
Looking forward to the unveiling of “Call of Duty” NEXT on August 28th at 9 AM PT, as we’ll be seeing more gameplay footage for multiplayer, along with additional Zombies action. If you’ve pre-ordered or are a Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscriber, early access to the open beta starts from August 30th to September 4th. The open beta will then become accessible to all players from September 6th to 9th.
On October 25th, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be released for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms. You can take a look at an in-depth video showcasing the game’s campaign right here.
